Hi Guys Yeah Steve my Tax Return now has a column dedicated to ' Crazykiwi ' ! 8 Ohm but no sweat for my QSC/Ebs - I want to put my walkabout through it though and 4 ohm will suit much better I think. Also I've been to the Gym a few times so am probably going to try a Berg cab! Gas Attack big time!!

Hiya That was my bass originally. I traded it to Sshorepunk for a Status and I'm pretty sure he moved it on but don't know where it went I'm afraid. Amazingly playable bass especially for slap. Good luck.

Hi Jamie Only interested in 4string slappy basses for possible trade at the moment - anything? BTW I'm deliberately trying to sell this bass before the Nordstrand Big Singles I've ordered from Mark(Bass Direct) actually arrive (due anytime now). I really think this bass would be hard to give up once they are installed! Steve

Buying some stuff so unfortunately this has to go. Hopefully since a few more people saw these basses in the flesh at MusicLive we can appreciate what great basses they are. This was Marks (Bass Direct)bass before I bought it from him a few months ago, I think it's a couple of years old. Mahogany body, Burl maple top, Bolivian Rosewood board, Bartolini pick-ups, 35" scale Very comfortable bass, under 9lbs on my scales. Plays beautifully and is in Excellent condition. Very nice fitted case. Looking for £1350 ono Milton Keynes SORRY Traded

...
Ah - Flanker - I did notice that the strings on all the basses had a slightly wet, tacky feel to them...
My drooling didn't stop you lot playing them though did it ! Or slow EBS_freaks chops down below 'outrageous' !! Lucky they weren't Celinders or it could have been worse.

SOLD I've decided to sell my 2 remaining Celinder basses. I believe these are among the finest basses available but for personal reasons I'm changing them. First the Precision, it is nice and light and fitted with flatwounds. It's brilliant. The fretless has one quite annoying ding on the front just where your wrist sits but it hasn't broken the surface. It's not in quite as good nick as the precision (still clean though)but it is the best playing/sounding fretless I have ever played - it really sings! I can take more pics. Prices:- Celinder Precision___Sold Celinder Fretless __Sold My Precision looks to be sold but interested in part trading the fretless for a decent Precision bass? They are in Milton Keynes and I don't want to post them if I can possibly avoid it. Steve

Hi Ian I've just tried to confirm the string spacing on the Roscoe website but can't find it, it's very comfy for me anyway and I have smallish hands. That's the reason I sold the Celinders really as they are just a bit too chunky for me - still my favourites otherwise though! I'm sticking to the 4's for now. The Roscoe has a very full tone and quite versatile too,I'm sure you are aware that it has a reputation for having an awesome B string. I love the tone but with the Bartolini electrics the slap lets it down but I was talking to Mr BassDirect today(Mark) and he says that Nordstrand pickups can sort that out. It is 35" scale. I'm still loving the Fbass, actually the more I play it the more I like it - which is nice! I would like a really light Jazz bass so I'm considering the Nordstrand VJ5. They are meant to be really nice basses and they often come in between 8 to 9 lbs which is great. We'll see! I'm very happy with my amplification: EBS classic pre/QSC/Epi410ul and I also have a Mesa walkabout which is just fantastic , especially played through my other Epi 212NYC cab, which usually gets an old Ashdown ABM400 through it! Looking at that lot I should be bloody well happy eh? Anyway there's a possible trade in the air - for an old bass of mine!

Here's my 'big rig'. Gigged last night for the first time and it was superb just ticking over! Just the EBS/QSC with the Epi 410UL and the F Bass BN5. I have a Mesa combo but I'd love to try it at a gig with my Epi 212 NYC.
