  1. Hi ya, if you wire it with an A/B switch you go sansamp out to AB box input A, unaffected out to Bass amp, Amp fx send to AB box input B, and Amp FX return to Ab box out, Seems a bit long winded to me!
  2. +1 for the Jeff Berlin, for bigger gigs you can add another 15" see my avatar. Also been gigging a Genz Benz shuttle 9.0 + Uber 212 for the past year and keep getting asked to turn down Bass direct are doing some great deals on Genz gear at the moment.
  3. Need a bit of help here Guys at the moment I'm running my bass into the front of my RBI with the sansamp out connected to the input of my shuttle, this allows me to have the tone shaping of both units or use the shuttle on it's own with the SA switched out. My question is 1, is this doing any harm running in effect 2 preamps and is there a better way of wiring the units but still keeping the tone shaping of the two without using an A/B box ?
  4. Seems like a fair trade to me.........................................................Anyone?
  5. Long shot here but does anyone have a tab or notation for Alanis Morissette's ironic, in the key of C? need it for the weekend and just don't have the time to sit down and score it. cheers

  16. +1 TBH there's quite a bit out there on the net guide wise, I found that it's best to see what feels good for you and expect to spend a fair bit of time doing your homework, if you must make/cut your own nut then file your slots gradually it's a lot easier to take away than it is to add. Here's one i made for my P Bass in Brass [attachment=96789:320813_10150363372232869_559527868_8460719_1436838772_n.jpg]

  21. Yep! great cab well made and well thought out, love 12s there a nice compromise between 10s and 15s and a hell of a lot lighter than my Marshall 4x12
  22. No problem at all, to be honest if it had a wenge fingerboard i would have been interested, Fantastic looking Bass i do love the corvette body shape i, sold mine in the early 90s for silly money. Oh well you live and learn as my old Nan used to say. Cheers, Bones
  23. So tell me what have you got, amp and cab purchased from Bass direct about 6 months ago in as new condition ?
  24. IMO Leo did his homework and got it right first time simple as that. The only Basses I've ever played that felt like part of me.(if that makes any sense)

    Behringer

For what it's worth, In the past I have had a Sansamp RBI, Sansamp Bass driver, An MXR M80 and a fulltone Bass driver. At the moment I have a Behringer BD121 and an EBS multicomp that's all I need to give a little bit more warmth to my shuttle 9.0 head and I like the tone, can't see me changing any time soon. Cost me £10 + postage on EBay
