SOLD ON EBAY Hello, Here's a cute little gadget - a Vox AC30 amPlug. It's made for Guitar (which is what I bought it for....) but works surprisingly well on the bass. It plug into your instrument, you connect 'phones to it (and an Mp3 for jamming along to) and Bobs yer uncle. It's got gain, tone and vol controls and as long as you don't go nuts with the gain, it'll do a pretty decent job of amplifying your Bass. Loverlee on the Guitar too... It comes with the original packaging and is in minty condition. £20 posted. Based in Halesowen if you want to pick it up/admire it/give me biscuits. TTFN Rushbo

Hey hey, After much internal debate, my ol' pedal board is being chopped up in favour of a Multi FX (which, knowing me, will be part ex-ed against a load of stomp boxes by Christmas...) Anyhoo, here they are -they're in very good to fair condition, starting with: [s]Boss ODB3 - one scratch by the input, other than that, it's pretty minty. Boxed. £50 posted [/s]SOLD ELSEWHERE [s]Boss GE7B - A few scratches and the lettering on the front is slightly worn. No box. £35 posted [/s]SOLD [s]MXR M88 Octave - A few scratches. Boxed. £50 posted [/s]SOLD ELSEWHERE [s]Digitech Multi chorus - A few scratches. Boxed (tatty!). [/s][s]£25 posted[/s] SOLD ELSEWHERE [s]Aphex Punch Factory Comp - Other than three tinyweeny dinks in the lovely orange finish this is in great condition. No box[/s]. £50 posted. SOLD ELSEWHERE [s]Danelectro Hash Brown Flanger - Here's the story... I bought this from a BCer a while ago and the little plastic screw that holds the base to the casing was knackered. Rather than spend a joyless hour at B&Q looking for one that worked, I used electrical tape to keep it together and as the pedal has been on my board, I've had no problem. This a GREAT Flanger - really under-rated. No box. £13 posted [/s]SOLD ELSEWHERE I'm based in the Wild West Midlands, so if you can pick 'em up, I'll knock a quid or two off TTFN, Rushbo

I had a Peavey TNT 150. Bombproof. Got kicked around from 1988-2010. It rattled about in transit vans, on trailers, was manhandled by countless careless musicians and always sounded sweet. And loud. Teamed with my Ibanez 850 Roadstar, my 80's/90's rig was lovely. I really should have stopped there...

SOLD ELSEWHERE This is a lovely starter or spare guitar. It's made by Godman, but it's been customised to read "Gisbon" on the headstock with a professionally printed logo. Very convincing it is too... Its a bolt on neck and the guitar has had a few knocks, but there are no dinks that get in the way of playing it. It's well set up and sounds really good. Obviously not up to Gibson standard, but it doesn't sound offensive at all. It comes with a strap and if you ask me nicely, I'll even chuck in a few plectrums. £80 gets it if you can pick it up from Halesowen in the Wild West Midlands. Postage should be about a tenner.

SOLD SOLD SOLD on Ebay With a heavy heart and heavier overdraft, I offer up my beautiful Japanese Fender P. I bought it from kennyrodg of this very forum late last year – he in turn snagged it from Burritobass, also of this forum in early 2012, so you can be sure of its provenance. It’s lived a life, but it’s got Mojo for miles… It has a SD SPB1 p/up and wiring kit/pots etc from Kiogon and genuine Fender replacement Vol/Tone knobs. According to mckendrick (a man who knows his Fenders…) “It's a '57ri body with a '62ri neck. The neck has the FB3 tuners... so most likely it'll be from a CIJ PB62-US, where US would indicate the body it came from would have been fitted with US pickups. The neck plate has 'FENDER' on it so given it came with that body, it would put the body in earlier MIJ territory. Looks like basswood so it would have been a stock MIJ '57, in which case it's got a wise choice of pick-up mod”. I have no reason to doubt that. “What does it sound like?”, I hear you cry… It sounds like a classic P. Lovely comfy neck, splendid two tone burst and it’s loaded with some fairly new Fender flatwounds. What’s not to love? It’s got some dings, but nothing too terrible. £350 to pick up from sunny Halesowen in the Wild West Midlands or posted for £370. No trades, ta! Feel free to come and have a tweak, but bring biscuits. No one ever brings biscuits…http://s306.photobuc...se%20Fender%20P
Do you mean like this?
I love it! But what I love even more is the fact that the only English phrase on that webpage is "worst project ever"....

As a young and impoverished, budding Bassist, I owned a number of low budget or copy Fender Precisions. When I was able to afford a Fender Precision, I bought one. As a young and impoverished, budding Bassist, I always wanted a Rickenbacker, but I could never find something in my price range to even try. When I was able to afford a Rickenbacker 4001, I bought a Fender Precision.
Strange question... any idea how heavy the two items are ?? Im after a set up, but weight is an issue, due to motorcycle injury cheers...Chris
Not a strange question at all sir...Weight may be a little prohibitive (unless, following your motorycle injury, various limbs were replaced with turbo charged mechanical ones, a la The Six Million Dollar Man...). The cab weighs in at a slender 91lbs and the head is a shade under 40lbs. The upside is that in the event of a nuclear war the cab would make an ideal shelter...
