230 new. There really isn't much choice out there for us lefties! But I've read that its a good starting point.

Hello all, my real name is Michael, i come from N. Ireland and im completely new to bass. when i say new i mean im only starting from Monday! I've just bought an ibanez gsr 200L (yes, im a lefty!) My reason for deciding to learn the bass is because i just love the sound of it. Simple. I've no experience whatsoever with playing any instrument which is why I've joined up here after being told by someone on twitter, to get a few tips. So i guess you'll be seeing a lot more of me!
