I'm currently using a Digitech bass multi chorus. I'm in a wedding band and it only gets used for 80s rock, (sweet child o mine, don't stop believing etc) and it sounds great, or more accurately it sounds the right kind of bad. It's been getting noisier over the last few months though, so it's probably time for a new one. What should I get? I don't use chorus in any band apart from the wedding band, so I don't want to spend too much and it needs to have a certain amount of cheesiness with absolutely no subtlety. I'm thinking about the TC Corona, because I can get lots of choruses with tone print, Boss because there are loads of them around or another Digitech because I know it works. What else should I be considering?

My first gig with both cabs, I have iems and a big PA, so this is clearly overkill, but it sounds amazing.

Turns out I didn't hesitate to buy off Dave again. Just got a second Genzler cab, again, totally perfect cab, fast delivery and all round very nice guy.

Just bought a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 off Andy, pleasure dealing with him. Great communication and arrived well packed and very quickly.

Has anyone actually tried this yet? I use a Magellan and I love the drive, but I also have fuzz and distortion on my board, so this might be redundant, but I'm really tempted.

Chris bought my Barefaced BB2 recently. It was a thoroughly pleasant transaction, great communication throughout. Enjoy the cab.

Met Kev in a garage carpark today to buy a KK Babybass after he kindly agreed to meet me half way between Newcastle and Edinburgh. A very nice man indeed, despite me bombarding him with questions. I suppose I have to learn how to play it now.

Sorry for taking so long to reply, I really don't spend enough time here. The spacings are all the same as a Musicman Stingray 5 string. It 17mm at the bridge (I think) and I'm not sure what the nut is, but it was all measurements taken from my Stingray. I'm still gigging this constantly, I got back to playing weddings in May and I've been busier than ever since June. The only bad thing I can say about this bass is the finish is too robust. It's a nitro finish and it just refuses to wear or discolour apart from a small spot where I anchor my thumb. I really can't recommend McIntyre guitars enough.

I've been using a Barefaced BB2 for a while now, and I was happy enough with it, but I decided to try the Genzler 12-3 slant for a change. Partly because I love my Magellan 800 head, partly because I was interested in the line array and mostly because one appeared for sale when I had some money. I don't want to be negative about the Barefaced cab, it is a monster, but there is something much more focused about the Genzler. The lows are less wooly and the top is less brittle. The Barefaced moved more air, that's not really an issue for my main gig, but I think I will buy another Genzler cab soon. I still prefer my EBS Proline 410, but it's not really a fair fight because that weighs 8 tons and takes up most of the average wedding venue which is my usual gig. Anyway, I like the Genzler rig a lot, it's perfect for my gig. Also, by total chance it was a really good fit for the flight case I've had stashed in the garage for years, just needed to be cut down slightly. Sorry for the dodgy gig pics.

Barefaced Big Baby 2 Gen3 - sold pending the usual

I bought these years ago for a band that never happened, the kick mic has been used (on a bass cab) but the rest of them have never been used. I have guessed the value based on the fact that they are £236 new in Gear4Music, but I'm open to offers. Would prefer collection in Edinburgh, but happy to post at buyers expense.

Selling my very well worn Big Baby 2. This has been gigged for years so it is not immaculate, the base of the cab is chipped and there are a few tiny holes where I had a clip-on mic holder. It still sounds great, I just fancy a change. I have ordered the touch-up paint from Barefaced, but I don't know how long it will take to arrive. If the cab sells first I'll send the paint on to the buyer. Comes with an equally well worn cover that doesn't cover the bottom, which is why the cab is chipped. I'd prefer collection from Edinburgh, or meet up somewhere within reason, but I can look in to shipping at buyers expense, or have it ready for shipping if you want to arrange it yourself.

I just bought a Genzler cab off Dave, and it couldn't have been smoother. It was delivered quickly, packed well and priced fairly. It was in absolutely perfect condition too. I wouldn't hesitate to buy off him again. Cheers Dave.
