1. You'll want a DPDT on-on-on switch for that - I have a diagram somewhere, I'll post it up later!
2. You on Facebook? Someone on one of the bass selling groups (not sure which, there are 3 or 4!) was looking for one of these yesterday!
3. If you happen to already own an iPhone/iPad, the Line6 Sonic Port is what I would go with. All of the other cheap multis have infuriating interfaces, I'd much rather touch and swipe on a nice screen, plus there's so much more you can do with it.
4. EMG Geezer Butler sigs get a lot of love, and they come with a solderless harness so you can transplant without soldering and potentially harming the resale value of a vintage instrument!
5. Ah, I think I may have made a mistake there, this is a 2-band! Thanks.
6. I got a red tort Precision plate from these guys for £4.37 delivered... the tort is nowhere near as nice as the picture though, very dark and dull. Cheapest on the net though! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/-/260889298413?roken=cUgayN
7. I only use suede-backed straps for that very reason!
8.
I think you're hiding something....maybe a dark side we've not seen yet.
9. When you are the moon, you don't change your avatar.
10. Indeed! I was merely pointing out that Billy's comment might not hold true in some situations (regardless of the quality of the instrument), sad as that may be.
11.
Awesome. You could walk into any situation with that gear and command respect.
I'm sure it's a great bass - but most people haven't heard of the brand and to be honest the logo makes it look really cheap. I wouldn't be surprised if some people would assume you got it from the Argos catalogue! But then again they would probably think the same if they saw a Sadowsky, so who cares what they think! Point is, it's sad but true that some people won't give you respect unless your Fender-shaped bass has Fender on the headstock.
12. After a straight sale ideally as I have too many basses! But PM me with anything you have to offer as you never know!
13. Supremely heavy bass fuzz with TONS of low end. Works with active or passive basses. Very versatile, it can go between mild overdrive to heavily compressed and synths. It features a clean blend and gate also. Excellent condition, comes with original box and instructions - which will come in handy since the knobs are unlabelled! £90 posted Product page: http://lucidaudiofx..../fuzz-o-potamus
14. USA made Gibson SG Gothic in stealth black with an ebony board. This is (I believe) the rarer and more sought after version that has passive electronics, rather than the SG Gothic 'Morte' version you can find on the Gibson site. Not sure what these are really worth but there are 3 currently on eBay ranging from £600 to £800, so a bargain at £400! Comes with a padded Gibson gig bag. I could post this but pickup is preferred as I'd rather not ship this without a hard case due to the angled headstock. NOW SOLD More pics here: http://imgur.com/a/bC51j
15. Excellent condition, wonderfully fast jazz-width neck, very lively and resonant and nails the Stingray tone for not a lot of dosh! Excellent condition. [s]£200 collected from St Neots, can post if the buyer covers the costs.[/s] SOLD More pictures here:http://imgur.com/a/dUXJS
16. 35" active dual-humbucking beast with a unique figured satin blackburst finish. A multitude of tones available from the 5-way selector switch and 3-band EQ. Excellent condition! £200 - SOLD Demo here of the 4-string version: More pics here: http://imgur.com/a/cXdlq
17. I think the cheapo basses out nowadays are miles ahead of the £10 starter basses available when BRX was just a nipper! There are some quality basses out there for not a lot of dosh. The best low B I've ever heard comes from my cheapest 5 string too, a Warwick Rockbass Streamer that has a quarter-sawn laminated neck that's stiff as anything and only cost £280 new.
18. 5-string super jazz from Sandberg, 35" scale, rosewood board, proper tort guard, ash body in a stunning matte transparent 3-tone sunburst. Pickups are probably Sandberg's own, electronics are a 2-band EQ with active/passive switching, I assume Glockenklang. Great condition except for a couple of scuffs on the headstock, a scratch on the back of the neck behind the nut, two tiny paint chips and some scuffing by the jack socket (all pictured). The finish seems to be nitro so will become naturally road-worn over time - now you have a head start! Was £750, now £700 inc hard case. Pick up from St Neots or courier is not a problem! SOLD More pics here: http://imgur.com/a/dOsRP
19. http://www.sony.co.u...hones/mdr-10rbt http://roundreviews....oth-headphones/ Excellent headphones, well built and sound great, also supports APT-X for CD quality audio over Bluetooth. Only used a couple of times - I bought a set of Sony in-ear Bluetooth headphones that I prefer to use when on the go, so these have been mostly sat in the box! Best price online is currently £134, will sell for £85 posted. More pics here: http://imgur.com/a/2iXGq
