Yes, it was the worst wah I have ever used! Couldn't get a smooth action out of it, had a rather sharp transition, and just didn't sound very good in general.

Played a white one in Wunjo's today, it sounded immense. The guy told me the 3rd switch was a bass cut, but as said above it may have been a series/parallel switch! I see one of these in my future - hopefully they become a permanent part of the lineup with the occasional funky coloured FSRs!

These pedals seem to do the impossible! The Lo-Fi Sponge can supposedly turn a distorted, delayed, reverbed signal back to dry again. The Zoom B1on should be able to cover this ground too - then you'll get 100 effects, a tuner, looper, drum machine, amp sim all for £49! I'll give it a go later on and report back, I've not tried to do an octave up with it yet.

The Sterling, made by Music Man, is a slightly smaller more agressive sounding Stingray. 'Sterling By Music Man' is a separate company that makes cheaper licensed versions of Stingrays and Sterlings manufactured in the Far East! I know, it's bloody confusing! Whoever came up with that should be fired.

I had that issue too, tried to run a VT Bass in the fx return once. That fx loop must run really hot like the DI, so it must need a really hot signal coming out of a pedal to get proper volume out of it! I like the Orange pre, it just needs a little kick up the bum with a very low gain bright sounding overdrive at times.

I've had one for a while and having tried a ton of little boxes am now running the Darkglass Vintage Deluxe into my OTB as an always on preamp. The non-deluxe version is again a little too dark sounding, but these two are a great pairing.

Hmm, if that's true I wonder if they made the same tweak to the new nano version. I ordered the nano last week, but they sent me the guitar version by mistake so have had to send it back!

I've had a Squeezer and a Fatman and they don't really cover the same ground, the Fatman is a pretty unique filter. If you see a used one going, jump on it to give it a try! I'm even tempted to get one again since the release of the Super Fatman...

For beer though, just drying it out would leave some sticky residue behind. Even with regular water, it's the deposits that get left behind after the water has evaporated that do the damage. I saw a guy on Dragon's Den once who had a home kit version of what the pros use to fix water damaged mobile phones, it looked like the solution was to basically submerge it in alcohol as soon as possible before it dries out. I can't say whether this would work for your pedals though! Good news is this has happened to many people before so there are similar threads around if you search for them, you may find your answers there!
