1.
Wow nice bass. Oh no, I live in Ely which isn't far and I have a bp in somersham on sat. You about sat?
I am indeed! Will PM you.
2. Nice! I was looking to get one of these a while back. I did hear a clip somewhere and it sounded a bit like a grindier SFT. PM me if you want to do a short term swap for my Oxford after you've had a chance to play with it a while! Also, try it at 18v - it really made a big improvement on the SFT at least.
3. Still here, never got round to listing it!
4. I just detach from the horn end, lay it along the neck and tuck over the edge of the headstock.
5. Not sure you need to enable bluetooth - the Mrs got a Macbook a few months ago, I just enabled the wifi hotspot on her iPhone then she connected to it from her Mac just like any regular wireless network.
6. By the way, if you have a smartphone you can just enable wireless tethering to share it's data connection with the tablet. This is the reason they opted to make it cheaper without its own 3G since most people already own a phone with a data plan these days!
7. Bump - looks like this is headed for eBay...
8. I have one! Had for around 5 years now, didn't realise they were still being made? What do you want to know? My base unit seems to have died, occasionally it would fire into life if I left it plugged in long enough, but the removable part still works fine!
9. The low B is good indeed. I had a P5 for a short spell which came with a set of tapered rounds and the low B was floppy as hell. I put the TI's on not expecting much since these are known for their low tension but that low B was now solid!
10. Roland Cube, Line6 110 Studio, Peavey Microbass (cheapest and simplest of the lot). The Fender ones aren't too bad either if you can pick one up cheap.
11. Indeed it is! It looks cool but the ultimate reason I don't get on with it is I've come to realise I prefer narrower necks. These chunkier ones are definitely more comfortable to hold but not so easy to play fast on with small hands!
12.
Not mad on the colour, bridge or pickup choice! Cool idea to him a sig bass though

I want one.
Ah, the fickle nature of GAS!
13. If I may - 12kg for the cab and 4.5kg for the amp. I have one of these cabs and love it, sounds like a quarter of an Ampeg 8x10 with a little less low end heft. Great for using with fuzz distortion as there's no tweeter.
14. MDF body? Are you sure - never heard of Squier using MDF!
15. Interested to know how come you have this - have you ripped it out and put your own preamp in?!
16. It doesn't suck other than that it is too loud - but you can fix that with a £5 XLR attenuator!
17. I've not found they need a high action - you might need to tweak the truss rod though if coming from a higher tension set.
18. Funny thing is, all those problems you are describing are how I felt about the Streamliner! Lack of low end, scooped, lacking in volume and dynamics. Now I have the Terror I have bags more volume and low end! It may be scooped with the controls set to noon, but you can EQ out the mid scoop if you want to. It scopes pretty much flat with mids on full and bass and treble all the way down.
19. I've not seen those 15W and 100W CTM valve heads before either!
20. It says XLR out on the left hand side, surely it does? Only thing it doesn't have is the blend control and bite button.
21. Ooh - a 'BITE' button! Sold - I always wanted the VT sound in BDDI format.
