I had an Ibanez Promethan P5110 combo that was ideal for this, very small and light but also loud enough to carry a small gig without PA if necessary. There is a Red Sub clone that is much cheaper too.
The Roland cubes are good too, also check out the Phil Jones briefcase!
Ampeg SVT210AV:
Needs a foam platform though due to the handle on top and four countersunk cups for stacking another cab on top. Two of these would give you a nice tall rig firing straight into your ears! A good match for the head, I much prefer it to the Orange SP210 I had previously.
My first bass was a RB270F fretless - still have it! For some reason Yamahas are rather underrated so sell for peanuts used, I've seen used RBX270s under £100 all the time on eBay.
If you don't find what you're looking for you could compromise by turning the volume up a bit on the pedal in the loop and turning the blend down slightly if you wanted to achieve an overall volume boost with the blender engaged!
What cabs are you using? Please don't say you're using tweeters! Old school bass and amp deserve an old school cab. I'm using a Boss ODB-3 into an Orange Terror Bass and Ampeg SVT210AV, the natural rolloff from the cab filters out the fizz that the pedal is notorious for.
Some extra details would help your sale - Vintage Modified or Classic Vibe, which is it? Maple/Rosewood? Also does it come with tuners, string tree, bolts, neck plate etc?
You will want to order one before the release date to save money! I did so last night, just got an email from the director to inform me that the initial batch has sold out, the next lot will be in the UK in 2 weeks time. Also it turns out the main office is only a mile or two down the road from where I live!
I've always used 45-105, but recently tried tuning my BB415 down 5 steps(!) just for fun and loved the loose feel of the strings, sounded really growly too. Next time I change the strings I'm going for a lighter guage!
I might take the head if the cab goes - what's your price for splitting them?
I'd be interested in the cab too but only if you can put the original drivers back in.
Looks like a Badass in the video, but other pics show a standard CV high mass bridge with brass saddles. The pickup has massive pole pieces like an SPB-3 Quarter Pounder though, and there's no tone control!

I prefer the look of the Matt Freeman model though.
Just spotted this yesterday, think I might have to get one: http://www.fenderjap...o.jp/ajb-v.html
One thing that has annoyed me about Fender 5 strings is the 47mm nut width - this one is 42mm just like my Yamaha BB415. I've been looking for a nice black 5 string jazz with a narrower nut for ages and this fits the bill!
Now to go about sourcing one - there's one on eBay (http://www.ebay.co.u...#ht_5970wt_1037), or there's alway Ishibashi... any other suppliers I should look into?

Doesn't the guy from pendulum have something similar?

Rob from Pendulum uses a Starr Labs Ztar: http://www.starrlabs.com/
You can order them direct from Yamaha. I enquired about putting some in my BB415. Even though the BB1025 and BB2025 supposedly have the same pickups, the latter were more expensive, when I enquired about this I did not receive an answer!
To fix your problem you need to apply IRA and ARE treatments. Put your bass in the oven then leave it on top of the washing machine during a spin cycle. That should do the trick and make it sound like a vintage bass.
