What's your budget? Cheap options: Behringer BDI21, Digitech Bad Monkey, DHA VT1 More expensive: VT Bass, Xotic BB Preamp Mega expensive: Darkglass B3K I wouldn't go for a boost like the Phat Phuk B with the OTB, that amp sounds a bit farty when you boost the gain into it, it's no AD200B! -

I'm not holding out much hope for the compressor, like you I found the B2's useless. Hope the Moog MF-101, Xotix Bass BB and Bass Big Muff simulations are up to scratch!

It's not out yet as far as I can tell, but the G3 which is identical but for guitar is £149 online.

I put some LaBellas on my P recently, given them a go for a couple of months but might have to put the TIs back on, they feel and sound much better to me. I also like the Pyramids and have an old set I haven't tried tried on this bass yet so might stick them on tomorrow!

This is now a ridiculous bargain, if I didn't already have my Orange rig and hadn't just quit my band I would jump at the chance.

I quit my band too but still keep my AD200B and Matamp cab for my bedroom rig... don't do it! -
Knobs are brown and on the right and the pedal is brown, but the purple triangle screams Malekko B:assmaster: Maybe you saw a special edition of it in different colours? EDIT: Haha, great minds think alike!

I have an identical bass, added the ashtray and '62 RI pickup too! You'd have to prize it from my could dead hands though.

Get a special cable to run em in series and they will be 8 ohms together which will work through any amp! Then you can get another 2 of the same cabs and build a wall of doom.

Chris Morris came to one of my gigs once! Actually he was there to see his nephew's band. I think I was the only person around who recognised him, so I chatted him up at the bar.
