1. Just a tip mate, you should edit your first post as not everybody will read the entire thread to see what you're selling.
2. Bargain, many nice 70s Precisions on here at the moment!
3. Tempted also - if I decided to sell I'm sure I wouldn't take much of a hit...
4. While clicking around on Youtube I found a video of a guitar some guy made from a carbon fibre tube, then also found a bass version: http://www.handmadem...ade-abs-bass-in Just a toy DIY project right now but that alien guitar would look wicked on stage with the right band!
5. Doesn't really fit within budget but look for a Kala U-Bass - about £300 used.
6. Is it just my eyes or does the nut slot for the E string look a bit wide?
7. Get a Kala U-Bass. I spent a bit of time travelling for work and it was a lifesaver. It's so much fun to play and sounds so good that I now pick it up in preference to my normal basses when I fancy a quick play on something at home!
8. Great playing Higgie! What strings do you have on there and how was it recorded?
9. Where abouts in Surrey arest thou?
10. There's a bit of discussion about them on http://www.shortscale.org. You can get varying scale lengths and tunings, from E-E (same lowest E as a 4 string bass) up to B-B (low B being an octave higher than a 5'er).
11. How about a triangle Stubby?
12. Sure, will have to get a quote first though, I'll PM you for details!
13. Nice bass. Rules are that you have to state a price though!
14. What's your budget? Cheap options: Behringer BDI21, Digitech Bad Monkey, DHA VT1 More expensive: VT Bass, Xotic BB Preamp Mega expensive: Darkglass B3K I wouldn't go for a boost like the Phat Phuk B with the OTB, that amp sounds a bit farty when you boost the gain into it, it's no AD200B!
15. Price lowered to include postage!
16. I'm not holding out much hope for the compressor, like you I found the B2's useless. Hope the Moog MF-101, Xotix Bass BB and Bass Big Muff simulations are up to scratch!
17.
I use quiet a lot of Zoom gear
Yes, the headphone output makes them great for silent practice!
18. It's not out yet as far as I can tell, but the G3 which is identical but for guitar is £149 online.

New Zoom B3

Now this looks interesting... Line6 M style multi-fx with amp sims, headphone out and usb connection... plus clones of many great pedals: http://zoom.co.jp/products/b3 Might tell the wife that's what I want for Xmas if it gets good reviews!
20. Just spotted this in it's box in the corner of my room and remembered I'm supposed to be selling it! Bump! Postage not a problem!
21. I put some LaBellas on my P recently, given them a go for a couple of months but might have to put the TIs back on, they feel and sound much better to me. I also like the Pyramids and have an old set I haven't tried tried on this bass yet so might stick them on tomorrow!
22. I just bid £1!
23. I can play a power cord!
