1. I'd have this if you were closer - let me know if you have any trips down south planned!
2. It does hiss, but I think it sounds pretty good for what it is. I bought a used one on eBay so I can play bass in the garden along to my iPod!
3. Sorry, PM coming your way!
4.
All this biampuality is exotically exciting.....
I've been bi-curious about getting a Tiny Terror since I first heard those Talkbass clips a while back...
5. I'm a big Geezer Butler fan, and in a fit of GAS I splurged out on one of these recently. I've had a lot of fun with it but now I'm almost bored of playing NIB over and over again so think I will put it up for sale to fund my fuzz lust... This is a 100% faithful Tycobrahe licensed reproduction of the original Parapedal, as used by Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath, the same pedal used on on NIB. Play this into an overdrive pedal or even better a dirty tube amp and it nails it. Here's the product page: http://www.chicagoiron.com/parachute.html I can't find much in the way of clips on bass, but this guitar video should give you a rough idea how it sounds (you can hear how deep it gets at 1:16): To import a new one would cost $380 + international postage + customs charges, which comes to around £300. I'm after what it cost me, which is £200, including postage. It's in mint condition complete with a rather cool box and all the paperwork: Oh yeah, and this pedal uses a positive ground so you can't daisy chain it. Run from battery or a separate power supply (not supplied), or if you really want to power it on a daisy chain then you can use a Gigrig Virtual Battery or Diago Isolation adapter.
6. An alternative way of doing it - EHX Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai has a built in filter so you can get top end delay without muddying up your low end. That ebay item mentioned is a crossover alright but isn't designed to accept the signal from a straight passive bass, and you'd still need an extra box to miux the signals back together again unless you're bi-amp-curious. This would be ideal if you can build one yourself: http://www.moosapotamus.net/THINGS/paraloop.htm. I bet Max at sfx would be able to cook something up to suit!

Bass Fuzz

I am currently gassing for a Blackout Effectors Musket v2, it could potentially replace my Supercollider and Bass Big Muff.
8. Me too, if it's easily reversible and doesn't require a soldering iron!
9. Clips should help! http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?p=8088715 It sounds badass. Especially at the end of that vid with the P-Bass through the tube amp.
10. My favourite setting was when it was turned off.
11. It could definitely be rehoused into something smaller, and there are plenty of people on this board that would probably be willing to help!
12. I've got the Fender Sublime, you can get similar sounds out of the Bass Big Muff. I know you said no muffs, but you should try this one, it's much more low gain and vintage sounding, with bags of low end. In dry mode it blends in clean signal so doesn't take over your sound, although there is a problem of a volume boost in this mode, but it sounds so good that I might try modding it. The Fender has a built in blend to retain low end and note clarity, so maybe you should either look at getting a separate blender or checking out fuzz pedals with a blend built in. In which case check out the Wounded Paw Attack Goat and Wren & Cuff Pickle Pie B too! Mammoth, Mastotron, Blowtorch etc, sound a bit too heavy and synthy perhaps for what you're after, Cameltoe.
13. The ad says it was fitted in 73, which I guess classifies as vintage!
14. No, but the postman could!
15. You could also try out one if those miniature Ashbory basses with the rubber strings - they're meant to sound like an upright and it'll be easy to carry around in addition to your other gear since it's about the size of a violin!
16. Ashdown sold pending payment...

Moog

Both of those pedals are for sale used right now on this forum: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=83732 http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=83884
18. I had one of those medium Spider flightcases - they are the perfect size for a Pedaltrain Jr!
19. Check out this demo of the Line6 Verbzilla on bass. The Octo mode is especially glorious! http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...ideoID=10323439 The EHX Bass Big Muff is an ideal fuzz to start with. Best bang for buck out there. I see you have the Ashdown Little Bastard - it would be awesome if you could post a review or even some recorded clips of what it sounds like cranked! :brow:
20. If you want the Diago style brick, then I would recommend this instead, essentially the same thing but cheaper: http://www.johnnyshredfreak.com/store/inde...p;productsid=12
21. If you don't mind spending a little extra, check out the Wilson wahs. I'm gassing for one. http://www.wilsoneffects.com/BassWahs.html
22. They started again and have a new website (featuring an updated Submarine): http://musicelectronix.com/

I ordered from Catalinbread and avoided tax but I think I was lucky. If you order from Tonefactor you won't get taxed either .
