I bet if you put it on ebay with worldwide shipping you'd get a lot of interest from across the pond
Instead of paying the hefty eBay fees, I'd rather pay for a supporting membership so I can post it over at the Talkbass classifieds. Should be able to shift my Bassweet on there too!
Does the Option 5 actually work well with bass?
I thought it was a guitar effect that could also work with keyboards.
Works brilliantly. Slow mode is very subtle, like a mixture of trem/chorus/flanger/phaser/univibe, fast mode is much more throbby but sounds very much like an authentic leslie. Check out Led Zep's Heartbreaker, it can sound pretty much just like that!
I can put you in touch with the guy who took the photos of my friend's band Pushboxer if you like: http://www.pushboxer.com
Bass BB -> VT Bass is my core sound, if I had to pick a 3rd it would depend on the genre, either an MXR Carbon Copy for post-rock or the Option 5 Destination Rotation Single rotating leslie speaker sim for blues / classic rock, or a Supercollider fuzz for heavy stuff!
But then again, that body is routed for the Darkstars so might be hard to shift without the pickups. I'm not desparate for cash just yet so am happy for it to sit here for a while rather than put it on eBay!
Why not just buy one of these?
Jim Deacon basses are the same as SX:

You can get the '62 Precision for £109 delivered from Hartnoll Guitars! I think the Jim Deacon FPB2 is the same as the SX FPB62 and has the 20 fret neck, while the BG models are the supposedly shoddier ones with a 21 fret neck.
Careful, not all pedals have polarity protection, you could fry something! Most pedals have a negative center which is the opposite to most household AC adaptors for cameras etc.
If this makes it down to the London / Surrey area, I'd love to try one out to see if has enough top end for me. I like to use a lot of fuzz!
I have no room for it in my house though, so rather than go on the official list, I would love to come and test one out if someone nearby gets their hands on it.
It's on the heavy side, I haven't weighed it (don't have any scales) but it's heavier than my Squier P and lighter than my Peavey T-40. Balance is pretty good, no neck dive or anything.
