2. Not sure this will work with the M13 in case that's what you wanted it for Ste! It has take an RJ45 plug, like on a ethernet network cable.
3. You need to update your link then! Interested in a part ex with the Warmoth SG in my sig below?
4. I was looking for one of these a while ago, and there's a couple of others after em in the wanted section...
5.
Not 100% sure if this is in the right forum, but what the hey! just thought it would be cool to see what strings people use (and combinations of srings). I've heard that people don't like the tone of certain strings in certain places eg. so EBs might have a lovely 'E', but you use elixers for the 'G' and elites for 'A and 'D'. Also, do you thru-body some strings and put others through the bridge? I was thinking something like this: Current Set up: E - medium - D'Addario - bridge A - medium - D'Addario - thru-body D - medium - D'Addario - thru-body G - medium - Elites - thru body Feel free to put a dream set up
How come you don't put your E thru-body? Never really thought of mixing and matching like this before.
6. I'm just breaking in a set of Pyramid Gold flats on my P at the moment, they're fantastic. I've not tried LaBellas, but these are supposed to have all the thump of the LaBellas but with a lot more going on in the midrange. They also sound broken in immediately (unlike the Chromes I tried previously) and apparently stay sounding like that for a long time without getting excessively dull.
7. Great amps, well worth £500, especially since prices have gone up recently due to the exchange rate!
8. I'm leaning towards cash only at the mo. I'm really happy with my Squier VM P-Bass with flats for old school thump, and my Peavey T-40 for ric-like grind. I might consider upgrading the P to a proper Fender (passive P or PJ) if I find a real nice one at a good price though. I've been downsizing my pedal collection lately - I've just sold an OC-2, I sold you the Paisley, I have a Supercollider Beast alerady and I don't fancy the Zoom! You're welcome to come and try it out anytime though!
9. I'd recommend Markbass with a VT Bass pedal to make it sound like an Ampeg! That's what I use, although I might want to swap my 121P combo for a head+cab at some point.
10. I think you've just doubled it's value!
11. It's the same one you had Ben!
12. Love the transparent white finish! :brow:
13. If you're going for overdriven tones, put a tubescreamer type pedal into it - the mid hump from that will help to counteract the BDDI's mid scoop! Many people use an EQ pedal too, or as you said crank the mids on the amp. Or just buy a VT Bass!
14. Here's the info about the circuit: http://www.muzique.com/lab/pickups.htm
15. Sorted, buy Higgie's and sell yours on!
16. How about everyone from Basschat wears a silly hat so we can recognize each other and say hello?!
17. Actually they had a link to buy discount tickets for their previous gig and they say the link is to follow for the 100 Club one, so it looks like you won't have to!
18. I'll try and make it too, I love a bit o' funk. The myspace says there's a discount guestlist, let us know if you can sort us all out!
19. Anyone after a Sansamp BDDI should check out this Behringer clone, it sounds just as good and is cheap as chips!
20. I'd also be interested to know of anyone who can do this kind of work cheaply in London!
21. Now on eBay: eBay - Way Huge Pork Loin Pedal

23. Found this on Gumtree, asked the buyer and it is indeed still for sale... bargain but I don't really want it. Found some info on Talkbass about one, somebody paid $650 for the same bass. Someone grab this! http://www.gumtree.com/london/14/39891114.html
24. Maybe this? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=51998 He just got a bass trainer, did you sell him yours?
