  1. Check out the first couple of minutes of this video and notice how dull the Deluxe and Elite sound compared to the Flea. I think a lot of this is down to the noiseless pickups as they will either be split humbuckers or carry a dummy coil, both of which can mute your high end, or so I believe!
  2. Good choice of pickups, this bass is like the Fender Geezer Butler signature that never was!
  3. Hey TC - send me a free pedal and unlocked editor and I will record a demo. Just get someone better looking to mime for the video!
  4. Cheers Bas! And just to clarify, we actually had our own separate beers!
  5. That pretty much nails the tone in my head. And by that I mean the crap drive sound I imagined this would have! It does sound authentic in a way though, that's exactly the kind of tone you get from a tube drive that's fed too much low end. It would react totally differently, growl more and fart less with a bit of low end roll off and upper mid boost going into it. And I bet it can do just that with a bit of tweaking. That you can't do.
  6. Just put a pair of dirty boxers on the sub, not many will want to put their drink on top.
  7. Sold pending the usual...
  8. Turn your bass or guitar into an organ! Comes complete with original power supply. SOLD https://photos.app.goo.gl/tr2kTnnADTkDgvMJ2
  9. Fantastic Mutron-ish envelope filter pedal in mint condition! £120 posted https://photos.app.goo.gl/1Dkyk6l7XbVk1ZSE2
  10. There's also the Pod HD range, next gen on from the X3 before you get to the super expensive Helix models.
  11. So how are you finding the Spectradrive, Dave?
  12. Hopefully you can just beam the Spectracomp ones over, and it’s just a bit of organisation needed at their end to copy all the existing toneprints over to the Spectradrive category.
  13. I can see why people would miss the tuner. Compression, drive and EQ is all most people would ever need along with a tuner, so having it all in one would mean no pedal board, patch cables or fancy power supply required, just grab and go.
  14. Ok! Just to clarify then, the V2 is safe and tested at 18V. And since I can't pick out which one sounds better, I'm going to sell the one that's worth more, so this is still for sale!
  15. There are 4 drive and one compressor tone print up for this unit, it's worth downloading and having a read of the descriptions!
  16. And were a winning contestant on Bullseye and the proud owner of a Speedboat?
  17. Considering you can't edit the Toneprints, there is only like one Toneprint available at the moment, so there's another reason to hold fire!
  18. I actually like my octaver going into the Spectracomp. The octaver tends to flatten all the dynamics out of the signal, but a compressor with a long enough attack time (default preset does the trick) makes it punchier by letting the peak through before clamping down on it! My chain is currently octaver, Thumpinator, filter, comp, then everything else.
  19. I'm have a Spectracomp into a VTDI on the board right now, great combo. Not sure if the drive on the Spectradrive will be able to sound like that but will be interesting to find out! I think I'll just have to wait for TC to release a filter pedal then a multi FX. Seems like they have everything lined up for the perfect multi except for the filters!
  20. Ah, thanks! Well I might have to do some testing and this ad might change to a V1 B3K or broken V2 for spares or repair!
  21. Got a link to where that might be quoted anywhere? I've got that info from Doug himself, after the B3K V2 was already out, but before the latest V2 Ultra pedals were released. Apparently multiple B7Ks have been melted as a result of running them at 18V so thought it wise not to risk the new one!
  22. I recently acquired this but have decided to keep my old V1. Reason for this is I mistakenly tried the old one at 18V to find out sounded so much better, only to later find out I was very lucky not to blow it up as the internals are only rated for 15V. I don't want to risk a brand new pedal at the higher voltage so up it goes! Unmarked, literally just played for a few minutes, but owned it too long to send it back now! £160 posted https://photos.app.goo.gl/vHp6C9Mn7EOnnxz52
  23. I didn't mean to hit the post button, I meant to add my listing for an Omnicabsim first! https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/322655-dsm-omnicabsim/
  24. Original version, hardly used and mint condition! Price includes postage. https://photos.app.goo.gl/PJdbSdYDQvyGBokr2
