HotRox stock the full set of Cioks cables... Not sure about other brands, but if yours uses a phono plug then they will work. Simple option is to contact the vendor and ask them, they should be able to direct you to a UK dealer who will either have them in stock or can order them in.

Actually just gave my Tonehammer another bash and I can get some pretty nice aggressive sounds out of it too by scooping the mids. The mids are before the overdrive circuit so affect the character of the clipping, something key in understanding the Tonehammer! In short, you would probably be happy with either depending on which bass/tone/genre etc.

Other thoughts: The Tonehammer DI going direct to headphones with AGS on is my favourite warm vintage tone ever. The drive control on the amp is like a variable AGS control so is even more adjustable. However I only like it for that vintage fat furry sound. The vintage mode of the M900 doesn't sound as good direct to me, but I love it through my actual cab. It doesn't clip the lows or compress like the Aguilar's drive circuit, it distorts the midrange and mixes it with the clean tone. The overall result is more hifi, like all the harmonics of overdrive but with your original dynamics. Hard to pick a winner between the two! For more modern scooped grindy tones though, the Darkglass eats the Aguilar for breakfast.

The simple footswitch only allows for switching between clean and dirty. The 'intelligent' footswitch allows you to switch between VMT and B3K modes, however I don't recommend this due to the EQ differences between the channels (big bass boost, mid scoop and high mid boost in B3K mode).

I'm happy with the DC5, and it's been able to power pedals that on paper, it shouldn't (e.g. Two Notes Le Bass). But if do up another board I would definitely try the CS6. I like the fact their technology isn't transformer based which means you can get more juice from individual outputs and you're able to far exceed what each one is labelled as, and certain pedals are succeptible to noise when placed near transformers.

I don't feel like there is. I wouldn't be surprised if measuring it might reveal a rolloff in the real low sub bass region, but it has plenty of lows to rattle windows without even boosting the bass knob.

Quite easy to get a discount off anything they sell just by using the built-in chat system. And if they won't ship to the UK, you can forward it to shipito.com, but then costs will start to add up!

Headstock logo and bridge are correct. Never knew they made a white CV P though, but lo and behold: https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Squier-by-Fender-Classic-Vibe-60s-P-Bass-Guitar-Olympic-White/1OB8

Email Eden support. It may well be under 80mA, the adapter is just 400mA since most standalone adaptors put out way more than the pedal needs, and let's face it there's probably not a massive choice of 15V adaptors on the market for them to choose from!

£35.26 new, apparently delivered from the UK on eBay: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F152880326269 However due to the weird price it's probably coming from China, will take ages to arrive and potentially get hit by customs. I have ordered stuff appearing to be UK based before and it's come from overseas, so I'd contact the seller first!

My favourite setting was bypass mode.

£700 or less bass. Whats the best option?

I would make the trip... otherwise you end up buying a load of used basses you don't like until you can't move without tripping over them, as I have done! -
Might help to tell us what Jazz bass you have! Squier CVs are a bit of a non-standard shape, this I know as I struggled to find a direct fit for mine.

Having just read the article properly, yes! Not only can you stream audio to it but you can also push presets without authentication... You could switch on an octaver and turn them into a bassist!

I have on occasion connected to my home network via VPN when away from home and played The Birdie Song on the Sonos to entertain the wife!

Check out the Yamaha THR10.

That's not Squire, it's Entwhistle!

I just tried to recreate an Alpha Omega type distortion... First clip is Helix Native with 1.5kHz mid boost going into a signal split between a HiWatt amp + cab in parallel with the Facial Fuzz, then a clean channel on a separate path. Second is an Alpha Omega with the knobs mostly around noon, bite on and growl off. I literally only spent a few minutes tweaking and recording this so they're not EQ'd that closely. First clip needs a bit less 100Hz and a bit more 500Hz for example, but as a proof of concept I think it's not that bad! https://1drv.ms/u/s!ApKsVfvGwYkOiqVTIbX4oPNPwFxoig

1st. Bass Pedal from Way Huge! Pork & Pickle OD/Fuzz

It's been a while since I tried a Pork Loin but this seems much higher gain to me? Still pretty dirty with the gain all the way off. -

Unless they are Barefaced 10" ceramic ones!

I continue to be impressed at how close the 'Obsidian 7000' cops a B7K, including its knack of making any other dirt pedal going into it sound awesome. Obsidian 7000 with a (real) Alpha Omega switched on half way through: https://1drv.ms/u/s!ApKsVfvGwYkOiqVRHNPDvmbDsfumow

If I didn't have about 10 basses that need selling, I would consider it!

Also I just had to show how good that HiWatt sounds! This is Brit Bass preset, stock settings except I switched the compressor off as it was overly squishy. https://1drv.ms/u/s!ApKsVfvGwYkOiqVQjGl-SOw6oxLorA
