Mine's drilled and I haven't had a problem putting pedals on top of the screws. Sourcing new feet is easy enough (old school rubber door stops from a hardware store would work) but the hard part is that they are riveted on. Not sure but you might have to drill out / destroy the existing fixing then mount the new ones with a screw or glue! Maybe double sided Gorilla Glue tape? Double sided tape should do the trick. I'd investigate to see if there's any industrial strength stuff out there though rather than the bog standard.

Flat settings on the OTB according to the measurements in the BassGearMag review are bass and treble all the way off and mids up full. That should be a good starting point if using an external pre anyway! They also measured it peaking at around 900W for the 500W model!

Definitely try the MXR BEF if you can. Fantastic filter for funk. Also look into the MuFX Microtron, Mr Black Fwonkbeta and Broughton JoshWah for more dirty Mutron like sounds a la Bootsy. For Octavers I'm a big believer in analog over digital. Tracking can be iffy on some notes but the response is immediate and the tone usually much fatter. I don't mind that they only do octave down since I can just play higher up and let the pedal fill out the lower octave! I'm using an EBS Octabass right now, it sounds perfect for what I need but I still want to check out the Aguilar Octamizer. There are a couple of big octaver and filter threads on here right now that are well with a read! You should also check out some funky squelchy sounding fuzzes like the Prunes & Custard and Malekko Diabolik!

Some nice selections there. My JoshWah had also found a place on my board now after realising my Hotone Bass Press gets a little lost in the mix. The volume control makes all the difference!

The subharmonic generator is essentially the same as an analog octaver. I've heard people say that sub pedals like the Meatbox are a different effect to octavers, but the technology used is the same, just that they are voiced/EQ'd differently. What I do if I want an octave up is just play an octave higher and let the pedal fill out the octave down. Sounds much better to me - instant tracking, and no fake sounding digital artifacts you get from digital octave up!

No but he can probably build you a Broughctave & JoshWah in the same box, or a combination with reduced features to keep the size down. Or go COG custom of course. And if you're going custom then you can get the dirt built in too! Is all this mini board business really necessary? Just sounds like an excuse to buy more pedals!

Try a Bass Synth Wah Al, easy to obtain cheap and easy to sell on. Great octaver and an OK filter!

I bought a Scrambler recently but returned it. Sounds similar to the Bass Soul Food but much better - it wasn't a bad pedal but if it doesn't improve on what's currently on my board then it goes back or goes up for sale! Another one I picked recently from here that is very similar to both of those pedals again is the COG Mini 66. Not sure if I'm going to keep it yet but I thoroughly recommend it over the other two mentioned!

No idea about the details of either pedal I'm afraid, just giving you more ideas of stuff to spend your money on!

Both sides will have tolerances and error margins in their mA quotes. E.g. the 300mA sockets can probably dish out an extra 20% than the label says, and the pedal might need 20% less than what the manual says. Add to that that the pedal will only be drawing max current with the gain/EQ/volume maxed out, so at typical usage levels will be using a lot less than their maximum.

No problem at all, I run a CB from mine too. It can put out more then the labels say, e.g. I've powered a 500mA Le Bass and 400mA Effectrode PC2A from the 300mA sockets.

Only if your amp as a blend knob for the fx loop. But that doesn't solve your problem of running bass + synth through the pedal board unless I don't quite get your vision? That Bright Onion box is just a switcher with a level control for one of the inputs by the looks of it, but they do custom work so can make whatever you can dream up.

Are you wanting the bass and synth to play through the board at the same time, or flick between them? A Boss LS-2 is flexible enough to cope with both options.
