  1. Tech 21 VT bass deluxe programmable bass pedal. Store upto 6 settings and a DI pedal. Truly brilliant pedal really nails a whole host of ampeg sounds from b15 to svt. This also has a xlr di, send return through and more for the ultimate swiss army knife of pedals. Run it in front of your amp, into your send return or into a power amp. The beauty of this is that you can save 6 settings (3 on each bank) which means it's very flexible at a live gig. It's not been used much but as with most of these pedals they look like they have - for some reason the print seems to come off. However it's a character pedal and that's character Pretty rare now and I think if any are still available new they're expensive. Pick up Leyland Lancashire or will post for £8.
  2. He probably never even got it. PR team got in the way. Isnt there a nice story about him on here though with a bass chatter at promenade in morecambe?
  3. I use those, they should be fine. One last thing to try - have you flicked the switch in the p2 from mono to stereo or vice versa? Open the battery bit and you'll see it in there. I'm pretty sure it wont be that, but worth a try. And for clarity are you running you're own iem mixer from the mixer and have you set up your own iem mixer screen?
  4. This might be a daft question, but just trying to help - are your iems / headphones good for bass? If they handle bass well, at least you can rule that out. Also, are the iems / headphones mono/stereo and not mobile phone (3 ring) headphones? I had some earphones that were horrendous for bass, and some that are great.

Yep, changes all the time in accordance with which new bass I fancy justifying buying.

Ok, you cant play a sparkly blue bass in an oasis tribute.
  7. Pedaltrain space saving tuner (SST) for guitar and bass guitar. Excellent slim size so it can fit on your pedalboard or inbetween pedals so as not to take up a lot of space. This is also perfect for anyone who has a 2U amp head and has no more room in their rack. Just thread it through and velcro to your amp and plug into your tuner out connection. You will need a 9v adaptor or connection to other pedals to work. Collection leyland Lancashire or can post for £5.
  8. Boss WL-50 wireless transmitter and receiver. Boxed. Good condition only had light use. Why choose this pedal for your wireless guitar or bass guitar? 1. It a small compact fx pedal size. 2. It comes with its psu. 3. There is also a thru for powering other pedals. 4. It plugs right into your bass or guitar. No need to plug in another cable etc. 5. You dont need to scan for the best frequency - it automatically scans the frequencies for you and gives you the best one available. 6. There are no external batteries. You simply put back in the pedal and it charges. Superb wireless option. Boss quality and reliability. Comes boxed Collection leyland Lancashire or can post for £5.
  9. As new. Boxed. TC electronic Spectracomp. Great bass compressor. Lots of downloadable compressions simply zap them from your phone and they appear on the pedal. Collection Leyland Lancashire or can post for £5.
  10. Ok, so I'm back on the tribute scene and to be fair you cant play indie music on a sparkly blue shiny bass, so I needed a nice, decent sunburst precision thatd fit in nicely with the look. Fenders were out due to price, so I needed a decent bass for cheap money. After looking around i found a barely used Sire P5. I've had v7s before, nice basses. I also had a p7 which was terrible and was the only bass I've ever sent back. I think it was a bad batch it came from. So, I'd read and watched quite a few reviews on these p5s, most very positive. So I was hoping for a good bass for the little amount I paid for it. On top of the good reviews I'd read some reviewers for some reason making comparisons to american deluxe basses for fit, feel and finish. Obviously that is way wrong and too optimistic....... only it isnt! The bass is truly stunning! It looks stunning it's a dark, rich 3ts and literally everything is extraordinarily well finished, lacquered and polished! Its rolled fret edges are the best I've ever come across and the whole thing has been done with care and attention. The all over kind of gloss finish is up there with the top basses. The p bass sound I always get no matter what p bass I play is a bottom string heavy slightly dull sound. However this p5 nails the sound I've always wanted - think geezer butler doing the intro solo before NIB on the Black Sabbath album. So far - stunning looks, feel, playability and sound, so it was time for the real test - band practice with a loud indie band. It absolutely shone! Very clear, punchy and musical sounding. It never got washed out in the mix and the upper strings came through with clarity and presence. The tone pot made a subtle difference all the way through the range which was nice as well. All in all a superb bass. I expected a lot to be fair and got a lot more. Now, time to check out the other colours available and get them into my other bands!
  11. Charvel SAN Dimas pj in metallic blue. Beautiful looking bass. Metallic blue body, roasted neck and cream dimarzios for the pick ups. Firstly the hardware is superb on this - great tuners and a superb fender hi mass bridge. Dimarzio pickups sound just lovely. The mid p/j sound is phenomenol and reminiscent of my old usa g&l l2000. The neck is probably the best neck of any bass I've had. It more a jazz neck, its slim and fast. Very fast due to the roasted wood and satin finish. In fantastic condition just one tiny groove on the back that is very difficult to see. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY From stock these are an active and passive bass. This bass is now purely passive with the blend switch still working perfectly. The active electronics are still there, but I mistakenly put a new battery in the wrong way and it damaged the active circuit. However, a lot of people like to swap out the active electronics on these so you can get this at a bargain price and replace with what ever active circuit you want or continue just in passive mode. I'd 100% keep and play this every gig if I could, but I've gone down the tribute line again and need to replace with the basses of whom I'm covering. Any questions just ask. It's a beautiful bass at a decent price. Pick up Leyland Lancashire.
  12. Golden rule for me - if they're there and theres an option to walk away and they dont, then they're enjoying it. The band is there to entertain the crowd, not the other way round (although I do love a good whinge backstage if it's been a poor gig )
  13. Completely agree. I'd be an awful audience member. I just stand there, dont move and just stare taking it all in. I'll be enjoying it on a different level to the people jumping around, but I'd be enjoying it just as much, if not more.
  14. I kinda miss those types of 70s albums. Wizards, folklore, stories etc and fantastic songs and musicianship.
  15. This pedal has been a long time coming from Ampeg. Great to hear it sounds superb and has a whole host of features..... But flipping eck ampeg, if you really want it to be an all in one pedal, put a tuner in and have digital storage for your analogue settings like the vt deluxe. Then - instant pre sets for smooth, rock, drive etc - that's what most players need nowadays. Not many will tweak at pedal level per song or worse, mid song. Frustrating as I'd have this pedal in a heartbeat otherwise.
  16. Nux Melvin Lee Davis pedal. Preamp (3 models) Cab sim (8 cabs) IR loader Drive section Sweepable eq Cab on off switches for di and line out Aux in Headphones DI xlr out Brilliant pedal. Really good sound and feature packed. Amps and cabs can be changed using the software. Very well built pedal. Boxed and in fantastic condition. Price includes delivery. Does not come with adaptor or pc cable (they dont when new).
  17. Are they still touring? I'd love to see them.
  18. Once you sell stuff it just becomes easier. Yes, you might want an old bass back, but once you sell and sell and sell, you realise it doesnt really matter. Theres so much bass supply out there and so many easy accessible ways to buy it, you'll soon get over any sellers remorse.
  19. Yeh, I'm just confused if its loud enough with 1 cab, why youd need three or have to sell your amp?
