  1. I had that issue once on my evo2, the headphone button was pressed in.
  2. Ok, is the button a pre / post 'eq only', or a pre / post everything? (I used to have an abm600, i cant remember whether or not it sent drive and sub settings on both).
  3. Have your got the pre/post button in the right position? I'd always go pre eq, then eq from mixer or in ears to monitor to get the sound you want.
  4. Great cab, also by far and away the lightest I've ever lifted. Great tight sound. Just surplus to requirements. A few small marks from use. Collection Leyland Lancashire.
  5. Great combo. Lightweight (around 17kg) and powerful. Contains the coverted RM500 amp, which is superb. Also has options for an extension cab (which I also have for sale). £250 collection Leyland Lancashire. Absolute bargain considering how good the heads are, how good ashdown are, and it's an all in one solution.
  6. If you are looking, then you know how good these are! Firstly, only 18kg for a 4ohm, loud as hell 2x12 cab which sounds superb. Has top handle and wheels as well as side handles for ultimate portability. 4 ohm, so you get the full output of your amp, for a great sound and headroom. In great condition. Also comes with an expensive custom made faux leather padded cover, which has an understrap so it doesnt move in transit, and a large front pocket for cables etc. Pick up only Leyland Lancashire.
  7. How would you describe the sounds of these cabs? Deep, tight, vintage, modern, clear etc?
  8. Cheers. I've had the hydrive 410, and thought it was great. It's just too unique a sound for the ampeg though.
  9. Cheers, I'd always assumed they were ported, but good to hear they're ported, that's a good option.
  10. Cheers Lozz, are these sealed or ported? Thanks.
  11. Sorry, posted in wrong section, please move if possible. Thanks.
  12. Hi all, I'm loving my ampeg svt preamp into a class d head. However, I've tried it through my barefaced super 12, and through my ashdown rm x2 2x10 cabs, and the rm sounds much much nicer, perhaps because its sealed? So what decent lightweight, but heavy duty sealed cabs are currently on the market?
  13. I had the bugera bvv3000 - superb sounding thing. I tried letting everyone know just how good it was.... but I think people where put off by the bugera name for some reason. It sold in the end in really good condition for around £175
  14. The split loyaly issue in fairness came up straight away. Both bands practice on a wednesday, so youd have to decide on one band to practice with, and one not to straight away.
  15. Cant you just turn the volume pot down a bit on your bass if the notch on the amp makes it too loud?
  16. Hi all Does anyone know anything about these? Anything to look out for or avoid. Also what controls options were available? Thanks
  17. It would be the head that is the evo ii, so I'd imagine (but I'm not sure) an evo ii would be the same for a 12 as it would for the 210?
  18. Another plus point for musik prod - these are genuine EVOii combos, not old stock evo 1. I had a discussion with someone a while ago, who had been sold an evo 1 as an evo 2, and the evo ii definitely have "Evo ii" not "evolution" written on them, and the headphone option in the rear panel. Also they have a dulled fascia plate. Mine took about 4 days from ordering to arriving at the door.
  19. I got one of those rm 210 combos from musik prod and paired it with a rm 210 cab. Great light weight stack. Powerful and a whole host of options - compression, drive, headphones etc. Looks a nice cool rig too. BUT it's probably very similar footprint as your big twin. I also have a big twin for another band and I think it's the best compromise between footprint, power and quality out there. It isnt much bigger than a super compact.
  20. Great pedals. The silver peg is really great, but I've gone back to simple bass-amp-cab set ups, and covid meant I couldnt work, so they had to be sold.
