    Hi all, These have come out of a new bass collection power bass (great basses). Only removed as I tried some gzr emgs. Hardly used. Great p bass tone. When removing i did remove the foam and springs, but i will include what i salvaged. Also i cut the bridge earth wire, so you'll need one of those, but if it's a straight swap you can just leave the one in from your existing pick ups and solder it to these pots. For clarity, these dont come with knobs, but i can include some at request. £35 delivered.

    Hi all, I'm having a huge clear out before everything restarts again and anything I've not used goes. This is a brilliant, brilliant pedal. It takes a bit of getting used to, but when you do its superb. Basically an Ampeg svt emulator. A very very good one. I've had them all - Ampeg DI, scr, Helix stomp and vt di and this is hands down the best. Comes boxed, in excellent condition - just a very slight ink slit on the p of the peg writing. Note - it does not come with an adaptor. £110 delivered.

    I could be tempted to part with it, as my gk is my main amp. This was just for the odd jam and to scratch the valve itch.

    Yeh, me too. I always keep an eye open, but thought they'd all long gone. So I'm happy to have got this one.

    No, I think the tech said it was always happening even when using the jacks, but the Speakon fuse reacted more quickly and recognised the issue and therefore deliberately failed.

    Just gave it a proper loud 2 hour blast at the studios. Flippin great sound!!!! Very, very very SVT. Very happy. Now, just got to sit here an hour to let it cool down before I can move it!

    Had it checked by a guy who used to be a top ampeg tech. He said the amp sounds great and is built great too. The main issue turned out to be the valve prongs were a little too short to connect 100% solid all the time so they were slightly moving and causing arcing in the end which did the fuses in. All fired up and sounding great now.

    Picking it up from the techs today. Theyve fixed it, so should be all singing and dancing by this afternoon!

    I still want an ampeg svt classic or svt 2. Even though I know I dont need one, or want to lift one, or have the maintenance on one.... but I still want one.

    Frustratingly it's still at the tech's, they still havent even had a look at it yet to let me know what's wrong.

    A fortune! That's if it hasn't been damaged before. I dont know why they would remove all the valves. Seems odd.

    Ive seen that myself this week. I think that's the VBA all valve amp, not the DBS hybrid. It's a weird listing, as it says it works fine, but doesnt come with valves?!

    The originAL preamp pedal for some reason has this. Youd think its be the same as the abm pre amp section but it isnt (well, mine wasnt anyway). It has much much more drive and break up in it. So much, it was difficult to tame. But sounded great.

    Hi all, Does anyone know a knob that will fit the emg geezer butler pots? They seem to be 6mm but my existing 6mm ones dont fit?

    I've dropped it at the tech, but my gut feeling says the speakonnwas the issue and it's probably wiped out the valves. It was just very odd. As if you could hear them losing power. The amp has individual valve leds on the back and theyve all now come on.... We'll see.

    I've just installed some geezer emgs today. Simple to do once you've worked he instructions out. (the instructions are for all kinds of basses). The sound is really good. Pretty much awesome. Very punchy and clear. No soldering needed. Even the existing earth wire from your bridge can be left in situ and just clamped to the emg one. Only niggles - no foam for under the pickups, and my existing vol and tone knobs no longer fit. But an easy fix on both points. Realistically itll take around an hour to two hours to do, but it is easy. Highly recommended.
