  1. I just wouldn't have any clue how to I'm afraid. Its dimensions pretty much rule it out, and packing would be a nightmare.
  2. As seen below. Great condition. Super mixer. £35 pick up or £40 delivered.
  3. My take on it is.... 1. They must have written procedures to follow. Written by themselves. These are there to ensure the job gets done correctly. 2. They clearly haven't followed their own written procedures. AND they have admitted this. Therefore they are responsible not just for loss, but for being negligent and not abiding by their own procedures. 3. They're offering the standard cheapo payout because that's just what they do. It doesn't make them right.
  4. Only used twice. I just can't get on with in ears. Excellent Behringer P2 personal amp, and superb ZS10 headphones, plus ear buds. This seems to be the basschat intro into in ears, so grab a bargain. £35 delivered.
  5. Cheers all. I'll have a look through those. So many options to go through!
  6. Very little use. Allows you to plug in 6 plug sockets via 1 plug. Surge protection. Really helps tidy up any rack case system. I fitted this in the top of my rack case and had to slightly bend the corner for a perfect fit. Great bit of gear. £35 delivered.
  7. Hi all, Its along long time since I bought separate parts to build a bitsa. What are the main websites to buy a natural p bass body and fitting neck from nowadays? I already have the other parts covered.
  8. Will take £375. The only cab you'll ever need.
  9. Hi all, im loving the Helix stomp - it really is awesome. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or custom tones for creating a fretless patch?
  10. Another thing to consider, the v4 icon has a smooth neck, and the v4 standard that I have is a varnished neck. The pickups on the icon are really quite awesome. The standard pickups are really good too. Just remember that the 2 pots are not necessarily one for volume and one for tone. They definitely seem to have an impact on each other. You can whack the volume up, then add more by opening the tone up and it gets louder. Weird. Love my v4s. Strung with rotosound flats it's great for little money.
  11. Still available. I need the room now, as I've bought a new rig unexpectedly, so need the space. A 32kg 6x10 from markbass with wheels, switchable tweeter, and enough power on tap to fill anywhere with only a few hundred watts.
  12. That's utter balls. DONT accept it. By accepting you will bring the matter to an end. They took money to provide a service. They didn't provide the service. The reason they didn't was their fault and they volunteered that information. No way on earth do they have any legal right to do that.
  13. I have a rm212t that is up for sale, that I'm letting go for next to nothing. Will accept £80. I'm near Chorley/ preston.
  14. Here you go! Just shows you how compact the cabs are. It's a quilter 800 and helix on top. Also, the 2x10 is on top and 4x10 at the bottom. It's not a camera track - they are very similar in size.
  15. Lucky enough to find a mint unused n210 as well today. Picked it up. Fantastic. Now makes a great deal of options and modular set ups: 2x10 - small gigs. 4x10 - medium to large. 2x10 and 4x10 - very large and outdoor. all super lightweight and compact too.
  16. They have quoted a price to you to deliver that parcel and by paying you have agreed to that contract. If they then don't do what you've paid for in my eyes they are accountable and broken that contract. This insurance farce is appalling.
  17. If it's "lost" then they don't know where it is and can't prove how or who lost it. However, in this case they have 100% not done what you ask and they promised to do - their error caused it to become lost - and insurance should not have to come into play. Insurance is not there for when a company does not do what you have paid for. It's for genuine losses etc. They have admitted it's 100% their error AND they did not do what you paid for and what they said they would do (ie deliver it). Demand 100% back on this basis. These companies need to be stopped with this 'we'll do what we want and you'll suffer unless insured' rubbish. In no other service does this type of rubbish apply.
  18. Thanks, there was one on gumtree for £200. Said it had no markings to date it, but lots of people had said it was a late 80s due to the shape of the headstock.
  19. Prob cash only, but let me know if you've anything in mind.
  20. Hi all, Does anyone know anything about late 80s tokai hardpuncher p basses? In particular the post lawsuit 're fender headstock copying. Are these good basses, playability, value etc?
  21. Well, I'm very very impressed with this cab. Sounded great through the helix (svt) and quilter. Loads of volume and having the tweeter on really helped the high notes shine through. It was a big noise eating stage, and a big hall with a very high ceiling, and it coped great. I could hear every note and it just sat well on stage in the mix. Next week is a small hotel, so it'll be interesting to see how it sounds more enclosed, but I'm sure it'll not break a sweat and sound fantastic.
  22. Just done sound check. Sounded great. Loads of power left. Really sat well in the mix.
  23. I'd agree to a point, but they've really upped the quality recently with the nexus and the valve range. They started off as others have said supplying the likes of Sabbath etc, I think they just had a ropey few years in the 80s and 90s which unfortunately put a few people off. On first impressions this is gonna be a great buy though.
