I have a new single gotoh that will fit your Mustang. If you decide you want to cancel the order, make me an offer.

Yeah, I bought it from ishibashi in Japan although I'm not certain it's Japanese made. I fell in love with the blocks and binding and liked the idea of a 22 fret neck as the 19 frets on the Mustang can be a bit limiting.
-
Sorry, forgot to say it's a Grass Roots medium scale.
-
I've got a mustang which I like and this as well which is a 32" scale, slim neck and compact body so it doesn't feel too different to the mustang. I need to thin the herd though so I'll have to toss a coin pretty soon.

Do you play one finger per fret at the low end of the neck? If so, try Simandle technique and shift a bit more. Way easier on the wrists and tension generally.
-
I play jazz flats and jazz rounds. Every now and then I try something else but I always go back to them. I have to set the action a bit higher due to the low tension but it's a small price to pay. Thomastiks are the bomb in tone and feel. Possibly not a slap string but I'm fine with that as I'm pretty much a pure fingerstyle player.

I bought one of these new a couple of months back. Very nice bass, great build and finish. I have quite small hands and I'm fine with it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not questioning your reason for sale, I always thought small hands = narrow, shallow necks. Then I bought a 78 P with a really chunky neck and found it pretty easy to play and I'm now wanting to sell a Fender with a really slim neck as I find it too slim. Anyway, enough nonsense from me - it's a cracking bass, the buyer won't be disappointed.

It's a bitsa. Mexican neck, squire body, US 75 RI pickups. When gigging was a thing, I used it quite a lot. Plays/sounds great, nice and light and doesn't cause me any anxiety.

I wish this was the extent of my problem.

check him out playing with Tony Remy: https://g.co/kgs/xPyuwb -
Yeah, definitely the man. I first heard him on an incognito remixes album years back and he blew me away. I saw him at Love Supreme in 2019 and it was hard to pick out his sound - I'd love to hear him in a small club. I'm also a fan of Julian Crampton and Randy Hope Taylor. Another couple of guys who maybe aren't so well known are Andrew McKinney who plays with JTQ and a guy called Kaspar Vadsholt who is killer on an album called Godzilla dea Groove by the Bentzon Brotherhood.
