  1. Trades are unlikely for me but happy to have a chat on it. Here's another photo - its one of those auto stylised ones but does give a good representation of the bass in good lighting.
  2. The flame is hard to capture in photographs - I've tried to capture it again this morning with these being the best photos.

  4. If I understand your question - both of these can be powered by a 9v battery or via a power supply. See the links above and the further links within them to the manuals. (Hope that answers the question - I am unsure what you mean by all black and cream.
  5. Selling my Markbass 102HF - 8 Ohm Version. £375 £325 collected, plus £15 to ship. Note this the larger front twin ported (top and bottom) version that goes much deeper (to my ears) than the other version of the 102HF. Very good overall condition - just a few scuffs on the feet and the badge is all that is really worth mentioning.
  6. Sadowsky SBP 1 & SBP 2 Pre Amp Pedals - SBP 2 Now Sold Rationalising my pedal boards and obvious duplication between these, I'll sell one and keep the other. SBP 1 - £175 £165 shipped mainland UK https://www.sadowsky.com/product/preampdi-pedal/
  7. I'd have to say I dont know - I wouldn't know how to tell the difference !!
  8. Thanks - yes, not unheard of for a block colour finished Warwick to have no apparent serial number. On the trim pot - on this bass it controls the active output (gain).
  9. I have 3 2 1 of these, but no GK cabs to use them with so offering for sale. New price looks to be £35 each so...........£15 posted each, can obviously discount the postage should you want 2 (or 3?!). 10. 1999 Warwick Thumb Neck Through Bass -18V & 3 Band EQ Preamp £1399 shipped mainland UK. Dates from 1999 - Made In Germany, very good condition for a 21 year old bass. The bass is well set up and plays very well indeed. This thumb has the desirable 18 volt pre amp which gives the bass a lovely rounder / richer/ fuller tone as desired with the 3 band eq. Weight is 4.385kg Hopefully as can be seen by the photographs, she's in very good overall condition for a 20+ year old bass. The only things that are worthy of a mention is a small scuff on the fretboard at the 12th fret, also some slight wear above the pickups from thumb placement.
  11. I tend to agree! I must admit I'm really unsure if it is an original finish or not, there are no obvious clues in the cavity either. I know the lack of an apparent serial number from this age of Warwick doesn't really prove much either way. One think that makes me lean towards it being a refinishes the way the red finish borders the front face of the headstock when viewed full on - I cant recall seeing that on other Warwicks.
  12. Inside the body cavity there are a number of 'tines' (the tuned mechanical harp) that vibrate sympathetically when the bass is played and give it a more resonant / acoustic / overtone sound.
  13. £599 Now £499 shipped Mainland UK, or collect from Chorley Lancashire. Godin L.R. Baggs Bass Guitar Semi or Electro Acoustic. Quite a rare bass, condition is very good overall. A beautiful sunburst finish with white binding. Overall in very good condition, a small scuff near the truss road access and some small chips on the black headstock - please see photographs. Godin have confirmed that this" bass was built in 1990 and does have an internal mechanical harp which consists of 18 tuned metal tines fixed under the bridge." The Godin Acoustibass was first released in 1990 and is the predecessor to their current A4 model. The body is a semi-hollow chambered mahogany with spruce top. The long thumbrest allows you to vary your thumb placement on the instrument. The LR Baggs electronics consist of a piezo bridge pickup and active preamp with 3-band EQ. These early version Acoustibass models have been said to have far better build quality and tone than the current A4 line. Specifications are: Rock maple neck Rosewood fingerboard 34 " scale Mahogany body Solid spruce top LR Baggs ribbon transducer and custom LR Baggs preamp Volume, mid, treble and bass controls Natural semi-gloss Weight is 3.51kg or 7lb 11oz
  14. Markbass F1 - £350, now £325 shipped. I'm selling my Markbass F1 as I am going to use my Trace Elf as my backup amp. This amp is too good to be used as backup only. A few scuffs and scrapes from use, but all works as it should. Markbass say: Our lightest and smallest head to date boasts an unbelievable power-to-weight ratio (more than 100 watts per pound!). The F1's digital power amp gives it a super-fast response and a crisp, clear, full sound that will convey every detail of your playing, instantly!
