  5. Yamaha BB434 - £349 Shipped Mainland UK, or based in Chorley, Lancashire for a collection, try out. Please see my feedback fro confidence of an honest, reliable transaction. Sale Only - No Trades. I'm needing to clear a few basses out and excellent as this is I'm gravitating towards active basses. A great P/J, loads of tonal options. The Yamaha Blurb is: Overview Whether you prefer a rosewood fingerboard or the distinctively bright, crisp sound of maple, the precision feel and response of the six bolt miter neck along with the presence and clarity of custom-wound pickups will inspire you to play your best when it really counts. 6-bolt Miter Neck Joint Miter bolting holds the neck closer and tighter to the body fusing these two separate components into one. Compared to a conventional bolt-on joint, miter bolting offers more efficient transfer of string vibration throughout the body, for improved sustain and outstanding resonance that brings every note to life. YGD Custom V5 Pickups Alnico magnet pickups tuned to deliver the classic BB vintage tone, slightly updated to provide a brighter sound that cuts through in live performance situations. Control The new BB models are equipped with one tone control and two volume control knobs, for versatile sound shaping. Convertible Bridge for Precise Tone Shaping: Vintage Plus Light Bridge The 400 models are equipped with a Vintage Plus Light bridge that incorporates “Diagonal Body Thru Stringing,” in which the strings are angled at the saddle and pass through the instrument to the bridge at a 45º angle, as opposed to the traditional vertical stringing method which places more stress on the strings. Diagonal Body Thru Stringing significantly reduces this stress while transferring string vibration to the body reliably and efficiently. The strings can also be attached to the tail end of the bridge. In 5-string models the bridge is equipped with an offset low B string. Five-piece Neck The new series features a 5-ply maple and mahogany laminated neck, in a bolt-on design that delivers a sharp attack, and quick response. This durable construction resists warping and twisting and adds the tight, penetrating character of maple combined with the warmth of mahogany to the instrument’s tone. New Neck Shape The New BB models feature a slightly thinner neck than previous BB basses, improving playability and feel for both modern and traditional players. Lightweight Tuners Lighter weight tuners offer a better balance and complement the overall feel, providing a perfect match for the smaller, lighter body of the new BB. 6. Warwick 1991 Infinette - Further price drop to £2050 shipped mainland UK. Now open to trades. I have this and an Infinity which cover the same sound, look and general vibe for my acoustic gigs so regrettably one has to go. A couple of limited edition basses surfaced recently too which I had to have, so rebalancing of the books is needed. Very little to choose between these in the sound, and I've added a side by side pic of them for comparison. The Infinity has a 3 band EQ, whereas the Infinette has a 2 band EQ. £2250 £2150 £2050shipped mainland UK. Not considering trades at this stage but may do in a week or so if one of them hasn't gone. Given the value I'd much prefer collection, try out in Chorley, Lancashire A great piece piece of Warwick history. The bass is in very good condition given the age (28 years old) , there is the odd scar on the bass here and there from normal use. More than happy to send more photographs, details etc. 1991 Streamer Corvette known as the Infinette by Warwick fans. Pre dates both the Corvette and Infinity basses. About 120 to 200 manufactured Infinette Spec:  Neck-through design  Only available as 4-string (righthand and fretted)  Body: Atimoe (mahogany) back, Birdseye maple top  Three piece maple neck  Wenge fingerboard  24 (Jumbo) frets,  2 MEC pick up’s, humbucker and Jazz type  Active 2-way electronics  Warwick 2-piece bridge  Warwick tuners  Natural oil finish  Warwick security locks  Gold hardware
  7. Up for sale is my Warwick Infinity 4 String - £2000 Given the value I'd much prefer collection, try out in Chorley, Lancashire. The bass dates from 2003. Good overall condition for a 16 year old bass. There is some wear from thumb placement as shown in the photographs. The jack socket has been upgraded to a more robust one. For the full spec I'll copy and paste from the Warwick Website here: From Warwick's website: "The innovative, hollow body, F-holes and pickup configuration are just a few of the characteristics that put the Infinity NT at the top of the Warwick line. An ovangkol body is capped with a 3/8" birdseye or AAA flamed maple top and its unique, lower horn cutaway allows complete access to the second octave. The hollow design gives great attack, similar to an acoustic bass, without loss of sustain. It is equipped with a large-pole, MEC humbucking pickup in the bridge position, an extra jazz pickup at the neck and an MEC BEC III-2 3 way active circuit. This unique bass has fantastic growling mids, which always cut through in a band setting. The Infinity NT is a true work of art and is extremely sensitive to all nuances of your playing style. 8. Yes - still available. Yes - I believe it fits a MIM jazz, see the last phot for the 6 x mounting holes.
  9. Possibly, I was going to trial it with the band but I've not got round to it yet. Feel free to PM me.
  10. Calling BC'ers In London - Kilburn A small combo that I'd like has surfaced, seller is reluctant to package up and ship, dropping off at a post office would be fine if not wanting to wait for a courier to call. Is there anybody ready, willing and able to help please? Costs and beer tokens will be covered. Thanks
  11. Now open to trades but cash is king. Trade bait options are: Barefaced Big Baby Cab to pair with my existing one. Gallien Kruger Head No basses I’m afraid, though possibly a nice 4 string Spector might tempt me!, even more so a Spector Rex or Sandberg Forty Eight. ….something that will do the job in a loud hard rock band. I got a few bits of gear up, happy to do a multiple, combined deal.
