  2. £299 £249 £199. Open to trades but cash is king. Trade bait options are: Barefaced Big Baby Cab to pair with my existing one. Gallien Kruger Head No basses I’m afraid, though possibly a nice 4 string Spector might tempt me!, even more so a Spector Rex or Sandberg Forty Eight. ….something that will do the job in a loud hard rock band. I got a few bits of gear up, happy to do a multiple, combined deal. Set neck (so think Les Paul), Mahogony body which is very lightweight at 3.3kg to 7lb 4oz. Quite a rare beast - very Spector esque - lovely inlays in the ‘board. Set neck, Mahogony body, Gotoh hardware, quality parts and craftsmanship on this bass. In good overall condition - a few surface scuffs and scrapes from normal use. Comes with Farida Hardcore, one clasp is broken but the case still does the job. Not many of these about - there's a white one here for 1100 Euro! https://www.jnr.be/farida-hb-20.html Farida's blurb is: Farida HB-20 - Years of research and development have rewarded us with this exciting new bass. Part of our Hypersonic range, the stylish, 24-fret HB20 offers a wide range of great bass tones thanks to its popular active pickup configuration. The HB20 incorporates a solid mahogany body, maple set neck and rosewood fingerboard in a radical sleek design. Link here to my previous listing for one of these, with more photographs and background information. 3. SOLD Markbass CMD151P bass combo, the 15" version of the CMD121P combo. Made in Italy. £500 including shiping in Mainland UK - No Trades. Markbass CMD151P is, of course, powered by the Markbass Littlemark amp and puts out 300w at 8 ohms and 500w at 4 ohms, with an extension cab. Condition-wise it's in very good condition, as can be seen in the pics. It's pretty insignificant but thought this worthy of a mention - The only thing really worth of a mention is that the gain and line out knobs turn a little more freely than all the others knobs - as these are the ones that have been used the most, (all the others are still relatively stiff in comparison). That said, everything works as it should, all the pots are fine and turn trough the whole area of travel with no nasty crackles, pops or scratches. Comes with a great hotcovers padded cover - a few nicks etc ,sticker residue etc on the cover, but still does a fine job of protecting the amp. The spec are: SPEAKER: 1x15" TWEETER: Piezo BASS REFLEX: Rear IMPEDANCE: 8 ohms SPEAKER POWER HANDLING: 400W RMS (AES Standard) AMP OUTPUT POWER: 500W @ 4 ohm / 300W @ 8 ohm PREAMP: Solid state FREQUENCY RESPONSE: 40 Hz to 18 kHz CROSSOVER FREQUENCY: 3.5 kHz SENSITIVITY: 100 dB SPL WEIGHT: 40.7 lbs / 18.5 kg HEIGHT: 18.27 in. / 46.4 cm WIDTH: 18.27 in. / 49.4 cm DEPTH: 18.9 in. / 48 cm
  4. Describing sound is very subjective area, and as well as the bass itself there are of course other factors such individual playing style, strings, set up, amp, bass eq settings, amp settings, cabs used...... My subjective opinions are; as a two pickup, active / passive, pickups being blendable and EQ onboard the bass it is a versatile instrument. To compare against a Streamer LX, I would say it is similar but with naturally a little more 'attack' or 'punch'.
  5. I think the spec list i copied from a previous for sale ad. I believe it is correct, its probably more reliable than the information that comes from whoever is manning the Warwick email address on Pre 2000 Warwicks. Ive had the bass for 4/5 years so I can only vouch for that whilst it has been in my possession. Is it as stock?, It's a 1990 Warwick, so the Jack socket has probably been replaced in its lifetime, I'm not certain on the strap locks either. Apart from that I'd say so yes. I've added here a shot inside the control cavity. Yes, Push pull vol knob to bypass the EQ.
  6. It's the slimmer profile. If I remember correctly I think the neck profile's history runs along the lines of: Pre 2000 - Slim Profile 2000-2009 (ish) - Thicker Profile/ 2009 onwards - Slim Profile
  7. The official one is or the CMD12P Cab: HEIGHT 17 in. / 43.2 cm WIDTH 15.3 in. / 38.3 cm DEPTH 14.1 in. / 35.8cm The Roqsolid one is for the NY121 Cab. HEIGHT: 17 in. / 43.2 cm WIDTH: 15.3 in. / 38.3 cm DEPTH: 14.1 in. / 35.8 cm Note it the "square" cabs, not the "rectangular" H (for Horn Loaded) cabs.

  10. Yes - I've had both. The 121H, to my ears, is much fuller and more 'open' sounding. The horn is much better than the piezo in the CMD121P. Certainly a worthwhile upgrade - in my opinion of course. it does works better as a one cab option. Apologies for the link to TB but this thread here was very useful to me as I was researching: https://www.talkbass.com/threads/markbass-cmd-121h-vs-cmd-121p.502828/
