1991 Streamer Corvette known as the Infinette by Warwick fans. Pre dates both the Corvette and Infinity basses. About 120 to 200 manufactured in Germany in 1991. A rare bass in very good condition for the age. The odd mark here and there in the body and some minor wear/ splintering of the underside of fretboard, not uncommon on wenge fretboards. I've shown all these in the photos. Given the value and rarity, collection much preferred, with cash on collection preferred too, as ideally I'd want a buyer to be able to see, feel and play the bass given the value and rarity. Product Description The 59CBJD L1/S1 is the Fender Jazz Bass® ( J Bass® ) replacement pickup set with a ‘long’ for the bridge and a ‘short’ for the neck. The set is highly respected by musicians and luthiers alike for its deep tone, strong lows, low mids tone. They feature a dual in-line humcanceling coil design. The “Classic Bass” series bass pickups are passive designs featuring an extended and more resonant frequency range. They have far more “air” and definition at the top without sacrificing lows and low mids. They are cast in epoxy to remove unwanted feedback and microphonics. The lengths of the neck and bridge pickups in the original J-basses are not equal. The neck pickup is 3-5/8″ long which is slightly shorter than the bridge pickup which is 3-3/4″ long. Some modern designs, however, use two ‘long’ bridge-length pickups.
