Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0. £300 plus £15 to ship Sounds great - all works as it should, a couple of the pots have a little scratchy whisper on them but not a big deal in my opinion. I'm based in Chorley UK. DESCRIPTION Our new SHUTTLE series also incorporates this high- innovative removable chassis design powered 600 watt design, while remaining extremely compact and weighting only 3.75 lbs. The SHUTTLE 6.0 blends the best of analog and digital platforms to produce the ultimate in warmth, punch and power. The signal path utilizes a tube preamp with our acclaimed Active EQ and responsive Signal Shape circuitry. An optional foot switch is available for use with the Signal Mute and our 3 Signal Shaping circuits. The power amp section is a leading-edge high power CLASS D module, which also incorporates a Switch Mode Power Supply. The SHUTTLE 6.0 delivers 375 watts at 8 ohms and over 600 watts at 4 ohms. As a part of the unique Shuttle design the amplifier can be removed from the “saddle” of the combo models to provide ultimate flexibility in this bass system. Genz Benz quality and versatility delivers over 600 watts output and a rich feel in this lightweight package. There is no sacrifice of tone or power in order to enjoy the benefits of a bass amp under 4 lbs. For any concert stage the Shuttle 6.0 is a high-powered bass “solution” that still fits into your gig bag.
Beautiful Bass! Apologies for the slight hijack but how do you find the output of the pickup? I've got a 2015 L1000 and even on singlecoil mode i have to use the active input of any amp otherwise it sounds like its overloading the input and i get what i term as compression distortion on the low E. It sounds heavenly when i get the right input and dial it in
Yes - High output, by design, on the MFD Pickup. Bump.... -
obvious really which still begs the question why would a bass player want nothing below 250Hz?
I've used it in these following ways: Full Range Only - as a regular single feed from an amp. For Bi amping - Full Range & High Pass: One feed to one cab and one feed to another, effectively the lows to one cab and the highs to another, sounds surprisingly musical in this set up. One feed a clean feed, the 2nd feed with effects, works well with a bit of dirt, fuzz through the High Pass feed while still keeping a nice dry bass feed into another cab, no loss of bottom end here when using effects. High Pass Only: I've put the keyboard player through this when we were in a pinch once. It's also useful for home practice, especially at night, so as not to annoy anyone in the vicinity too much. -
Been up for a while, too rich really, offered £750 with option to offer more off eBay to avoid fees etc, wasn't interested. Nice bass, fat necks on these though and not NT quality.
Bump - Yep this is mine. Going up on the For Sale Forum Soon...... http://basschat.co.u...-neck-4-string/ I'm not overly keen to sell this (who knew - priced to keep??), priced it midway between a BO Dolphin and a NT Dolphin. but I do need to swap my gear around getting back into a great, original gigging band!
