  1. Struggling to make this gig now: 2 x Jamiroquai MANCHESTER ARENA Standing Tickets - Thurs 2nd Nov. Cost to me was £117. I'll post them out next day recorded for £110. Can trade for Bass gear
  2. NOW £99 SHIPPED MAINLAND UK Great pickups, great condition and a great upgrade to stock pickups. Product Description The 59CBJD L1/S1 is the Fender Jazz Bass® ( J Bass® ) replacement ‘long’ pickup for the bridge position. It is highly respected by musicians and luthiers alike for its deep tone, strong lows, low mids tone. They feature a dual in-line humcanceling coil design. The “Classic Bass” series bass pickups are passive designs featuring an extended and more resonant frequency range. They have far more “air” and definition at the top without sacrificing lows and low mids. They are cast in epoxy to remove unwanted feedback and microphonics. The lengths of the neck and bridge pickups in the original J-basses are not equal. The neck pickup is 3-5/8″ long which is slightly shorter than the bridge pickup which is 3-3/4″ long. Some modern designs, however, use two ‘long’ bridge-length pickups. In this configuration it is important to use the “LN” (long neck) pickup that is specifically designed to work in this position (do not use a bridge pickup in the neck position). Some (very few) use two ‘short’ neck length pickups. Please check the physical size of the pickups you want to replace to make sure the replacements fit properly.

  8. Trace Elliot Amp Bass AH350x Bi Amp AH350X Head Now £280 Shipped Mainland UK Recently serviced by the wonderful Gee Electronics so functionally fine. Twin channel fan cooled unit: Channel A delivers 150watts into 8 ohms and is high pass, above 250HZ only Channel B delivers 250 watts into 4 ohms full range. Works as it should, a battleship rather than a flagship. Cool UV Light. Great sounding amp. Some more words around the 250HZ High Pass Filter; via a nice summary here that I found online. I have used the high pass filter with great results in a live setting: The Eight Key Ranges of Bass EQ There is a lot you can sculpt with bass EQ – well, there is a lot more frequency range than you might think. In simple terms we can think of it like this - here are eight ranges and the type of work you can perform in each area. Boomy (40 Hz – 90 Hz) Fat (75 Hz – 150 Hz) Thin (40 Hz – 180 Hz) Power (40 Hz – 150 Hz) Impact (40 Hz – 150 Hz) Clarity (190 Hz – 800 Hz) Presence (800 Hz – 6.5 kHz) Attack (120 Hz – 4.1 kHz) Those first five are all sub-250 Hz. However, look at what you can do above that. Presence and attack can reach as far as 6.5 kHz. Then we have what might be the most important of all; Clarity.

  14. [quote name='fleabag' timestamp='1439738994' post='2845354'] With the above feedback who would have thought ? But since this is a feedback thread, the good most go along with the bad message re. my sale: " hang on to it for a week and i'll take it off your hands " Thats sounds serious and pretty final.
