3. SOLD Fender Japan Jazz, Made In Japan for their domestic market, so this is fairly unusual in the UK. Dates from 2004 I believe. Looks great without the pickguard in my opinion. A nice, Japanese Fender Jazz. Sounds just like a good Fender Jazz should. There are a number of dings/dents/lacquer cracks etc as shown in the photographs. This is just, normal, honest wear on a well played and loved instrument and nothing that affects playability. This is the Japanese domestic market only model, unusual for a Japanese Fender in that the truss adjustment is at the headstock end. 6.
I assume the neck's wenge rather than ovangkol? What's the nut width too?
Wenge neck and board - 38mm nut.
7. Warwick Streamer LX 1998 - Made In Germany in the very attractive Warwick French Violet Colour. Sale Only - No Trades please. Good condition for almost 20 year old bass, a few dings and dents as shown in the photographs. These are mainly around underside of the body and one close to the bridge. A nice, clean bass, currently set with a medium/low action, recent new strings too. Plays and sounds very well indeed. Weight 4.2KG Happy to send through more any photographs / information as required. Any trial/inspection is welcome. Based in Chorley, Lancashire. £[s]699 [/s]£650 shipped Mainland UK
8. Jazz Bass Pickguard 3 Ply White Black White £12 posted UK.
9. Easy deal with Geoff. Would happily deal with again. Recommended from me!!
10. On Hold G&L L1000 Fretless 1981 L1000's - Regarded by many as Leo's best bass. Overall this bass is in good condition, there are a couple of dings / dents here and there, as you might expect from a 35 year old bass. There is also some lovely wear on the back on neck. Weight is 9lb 10 oz or 4.3 kg on my digital scales. Nut width is 43mm. Small Ivory coloured fret markers have been added to the Ebony fingerboard to help improve intonation without compromising the appearance. There is also an added string tree retainer. Passive electronics, series/parallel switch. More tonal options than a Precision. Passive but powerful MFD pickup in the Precision spot. The pickup is a monster with three settings to give a variety of tones. The three way switch is parallel, single coil and series with bass boost for the single MFD humbucker. Comes with a G&L branded hard case - although the case feet have been bumped into the case housing. I'm happy to swap out the case for something else if you'd prefer. I'm in Chorley, Lancashire. [s]£899[/s] £799 shipped mainland UK No trades please.
11. Amazingly easy deal with Adrian. Did what he said he would, when he would. Would be more than happy to deal with again. Enjoy the bass and thanks again.

13.
Buy it here and he won't have to give those messers at eBay any commission money - after all they don't actually sell it for you do they..
It's listed on a eBay promotion offer of £1 max final value fee so minimal commission to those messers at eBay.
14.
Is this bass still for sale ? Is this listed on EBay ? Thanks Lionel
Yes & Yes

16. 2 x Warwick Basses: Warwick 1991 Infinette. £2399 - No Trades. Quite rare and a new custom order of one of these would probably run at double what I'm asking. A piece of Warwick history. Pre dates both the Corvette and Infinity basses. 17. DSL Padded Leather Strap - £23 posted - great strap this, note this little spit in the top of the leather in the photo, very minor and does not join up to the strap button holes, it is merely a superficial split - very minor but just wanted to disclose it. Of course, the weight of the bass is taken at the bottom of the strap hole so no big deal. If you buy and are not happy with it I am, of course, happy to reverse the deal.
18.
Nice bass Is there a photo of the neckplate?
Yes, on the link to the 24 photos on the original post. Attached here for easy reference.
19.
Very nice indeed. What is the weight please and the nut width? Does the finish have a slightly metallic sheen, hard to tell from the pics.
Weight is 4.4kg. Nut is 38mm: On the finish, Yes -I described it as a sparky colour above - a subtle metallic flake, sheen. Difficult to describe and photograph.
20. For sale or trades is my Unusual USA G&L L1000. Regarded by many as Leo's best bass. The previous owner advised me that he believed this to be a custom / special order G&L. Curiously this has the headstock normally found on the SB 2 - The decal does have a just about visible outline - possible overlaid - around it, so possibly a rebadged SB 2 Neck? Please see photos. I have also shown photos of neck heel / pocket in the photographs below. I can't see a serial number in any of the usual G&L places. The micro tilt mechanism appears to be over a partial date stamp, as can be seen on the photographs below. Very good overal condition given the age, say 8.5/10 - a few dings, scrapes here and there, some of the finish has chipped away near the neck pocket - I have shown this in the photographs. Plenty of life in the frets. There are hairline scuffs on the fretboard, the sort you get from cleaning / polishing too much from the looks of them. Again, I have tried to show this in the photographs. Passive electronics ,series/parallel switch. More tonal options than a Precision. Passive but powerful MFD pickup in the Precision spot. The pickup is a monster with three settings to give a variety of tones. The three way switch is parallel, single coil and series with bass boost for the single MFD humbucker. I'm in Chorley ,Lancashire.
21. String Spacing: Bridge, I'd say 18mm Nut, harder to say, I've put a couple of pics below which should clarify:
22. Sold a Bass to Rory. Great deal all round, great fella. Would happily deal with again. Thanks again Rory.
