Back on with the Mini Clear Out so...... Warwick Streamer Standard Made In Germany Upgraded Bartolini Pickup & Artec 2 Band EQ, I bought this last year to use as the spare back up bass when out and about. In all honesty I've barely used it. Recently restrung with some new Ernie Ball Roundwounds with little playing time since. I've also added a Sponge Brillo pad (!) into the control cavity to keep things in place and save from rattling about (as original there was no much in there) Link here to ahpook 4 year old sales thread - Hope that's OK ahpook: http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 As the original ad mentions: A very slight 'ripple' in the neck wood - this is on the back of the neck, about half way up. To explain better, you can feel the join in the neck wood when running your fingers along the back of the neck. Not felt when playing and doesnt affect playability. Also, very occasionally the 3 way switch does not quite sit in position when moved quickly and just needs a slight touch to seat it in the position properly, a very minor issue. Plenty of dings and dents on the body and the strap button has been moved. Has certainly seen some action. So, if you are looking for a museum piece this is not it. What it is though is a German Warwick for not much dosh at all. I'm based in Chorley, Lancashire - £275 collected, plus £25 to ship.
Thanks for sharing. This is only my view, and should be read in a positive light (I'm middle aged and slightly grumpy, thus feel free to ignore me) The keys and drums could've been a bit more 'up front'. The guitar is perhaps a bit grungy / bottom heavy, competing with the bass low down. Prefer more 'punch' in the kick. Perhaps slightly 'over-compressed' for my taste. Most importantly, that Wal tone should've been brought out more - some lovely lines in there Loved the musicianship and feel. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the comments, all valid points and all taken onboard. Appreciate you taking the time to listen.

If the nut is still spinning - My guess is that the rod has broken / fractured at the heel. It's fixable, but is a fretboard off job for a skilled luthier. I estimate the cost would be approx £250 though for an excellent job.

On the bridge - between the string saddles?

Sold Marcus Miller V7 Swamp Ash-4 TS - 4 String £260 Still replacing funds from a naughty unplanned purchase. Great bass for the money - I don’t really need 2 jazz basses so looking to sell this or my Sandberg to replace funds. Good all round condition, a small flaw on the underside of the neck, appears that the routing is a little deeper than was necessary. Apart from that barely a mark on it. No fancy Marcus Miller gig bag I’m afraid but I do have the original box. Copy and paste of spec.
· Neck: 4-bolt 1-piece hard maple, maple fretboard with binding and pearloid block inlays, natural bone nut.

· Neck Spec: C-Shape, 34" scale, 7.25" radius, 38mm nut, 20 medium/small frets, truss rod adjustment at heel.

· Pickups: Marcus Super Jazz Alnico 5, USA heavy Formvar wire, 60s spacing.

· Tone Circuit: 18V Heritage-3. Vol/tone stack, blend, treble, mid sweep/freq stack, bass, active/passive switch.

· Bridge: Marcus Big-Mass 1, through bridge/through body, string spacing 20mm
Based in Chorley - £260 collected, would expect any prospective buyer would want to see/feel the flaw.

Sandberg California TT (JJ) 4 String Natural Active / Passive Took this bass recently in a trade - since taking it I’ve not replaced funds from a naughty unplanned purchase so offering this up for sale, Active / Passive version - so pull the vol pot to turn the treble knob into overall tone control. In great overall condition, very slight bit of a dry spot to the right of the bridge pickup from thumb placement, nothing else worth of a mention really. Comes with Sandberg gigbag. Spec is: Sandberg California TT4 Swamp Ash Natural Passive Bass Neck: maple, 6 x bolted Fretboard: 22 frets Scale: 34", Body: Swamp Ash Finish: Natural High Gloss Finish Pickup: 2 Delano Pickups Sandberg Standard Gig Bag Happy to send any more pics or details. £700.
