1. Withdrawn - to good to part with....
2. Rich - Hi, yep - hope all is well at your side. Not sure if you saw the Dolphin on your visit- think it may have been at the rehearsal space, as it's usually my main squeeze? It's in pretty good nick for age (and shape). Would like to see pics of your - unless it's horrendous I'd leave it as it is.
3. Great basses these - real funk machines. Following this thread with interest. Here's mine:
4. Not playing much anymore, can't see myself using this in the foreseeable...need to fund other repairs (aarrgghh) ACG EQ02 Pre Amp - Recently Serviced / Healthchecked By John East. The ribbon cables were a bit tired so have been replaced / renewed. Pic here: £120 posted in the UK.
5. So the truss rod tool would fit into the teeth and adjust the rod?
6. Pics below - not seen this before when looking in the truss rod cavity... just appears to be 'teeth' - any input please? Quite difficult to photograph but here they are:

8.
I have a Thumb Bass with a 2 band circuit, bass and treble controls have a definite usable effect. I was trying out a used later model with 3 band electronics and the treble control appeared not to be working. I bought the bass as it was a good price and thought the problem may be an easy fix. Turned out there was nothing wrong with it but it worked at a higher band than that on the two way and on my amp settings I have this frequency cut so turning it had no effect. I prefer the 2 band circuit.
Thanks - you are right, problem solved. Wiring checked out by our techies at work - all fine. When I got it home tried again - still appeared not to be working. Tried it through the practice amp and it works. Eureka! - I'd been putting it through a amp head with a 'RnB' Modelling setting - completely EQing out the range I was trying to adjust!!!

10. Bloomin lovely, got a couple of sales close to completion but this will probably go soon.
11. Update. Problem has returned. Bass works fine and sounds great other than treble pot has no effect at all when turning the pot. Pot is turning so not a loose knob. How do I tell if the culprit is the wiring or the pot please?
12. Are there any BC’ers who are due to travel between the North West of England and the Cardiff Area? Myself and another BC’er have a potential trade deal and would prefer not to ship our precious basses. Logisitics are proving tricky to co-ordinate. Can any BC’er help?
13. I've spent some quality bass time with this very bass while at ead's conducting various bass related activities. It's a superb bass - top notch ACG craft, great Pre Amp, light weight - shame I'm not even halfway decent on fretless. GLWTS.
14. Not a chance!!,..ask him about the board and the inlays not looking straight (follow the line of the strings)...
15. and if you need more areas to probe..... The fretboard is a replacement. The inlays are stick on ones, I did this as well so may be a bit wonky in places....
16. Ok - will be interesting. Certainly are pictures taken by me. Eagle eyed will see the D and G strung incorrectly as I cut the string too short!! As far as I know the bass lives in Birmingham (UK).
17. Thought this looked familiar. Hmm..something not right with this one, although the seller might have just picked up my old pics online. But...... if pics of a bass are online (and are obviously not 'stock' pics) should you expect to receive the exact same item / the very item as in the pictures http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Spector-Euro-5-LX-Black-Cherry-/281473830963?pt=Guitar&hash=item418925d033 I bought and traded the bass onwards on this very forum! I know this is my old bass due to the 'purple haze' above the neck pickup / upper and lower horn - previous owner steamed off the 'board and some got under the lacquer.
18. ermm - nope don't think so.....
19. Nice looking and sounding bass - looks familiar I'm pretty sure the scale is 34" not 32", 32" on the Chinese made ones I believe.
20. Bump - still available as potential trade logistics proving tricky. Still available to offers of cash......bass plus cash etc etc.
21. Bump..
