3. Thanks NoirBass - only just spotted this for some reason. Any more by any chance??
4. Thanks for the suggestions guys - I will give your methods a whirl.....
5. Did a bass deal with Paul - an absolute doddle of a deal. Paul did what he said he would, paid when we said he would and collected when he said. Would be more than happy to deal with again. Top fella!!!

7. I've had every bass model they've done, apart from their Acoustic Bass (there is also a one off 5 String J Prototype that someone on here and Talkbass (Hugh?) picked up from Dawsons in Chester if memory serves. All are superb and excellent value for money - both new and used. Their RRP pricing history was all over the place - basically because the put each model out at x amount - they all sold very quickly so the price was increased - they continued to sell very quickly. I believe that they are now no longer making basses - they see their main market as Acoustic Guitars, which are very, very highly regarded.
8. Ah..... my old bass. Great work there hamfist. Well done - I hope you enjoy what is a great bass - Wizard pups in there as well remember!
9. They are great and brilliant value for the money, plenty of info on here but to get you started: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/225329-ok-so-are-farida-basses-the-best-pound-for-pound-basses-around/page__p__2327765__hl__farida__fromsearch__1#entry2327765 http://basschat.co.uk/topic/230883-cheap-nbd-farida-love/page__p__2443282__hl__farida__fromsearch__1#entry2443282 http://basschat.co.uk/topic/228627-incoming-the-farida-fjb-206/page__p__2355041__hl__farida__fromsearch__1#entry2355041
10. Price Dropped - £375 shipped -or £350 collected.
11. Sold a bass to Alan - effortless deal - plenty of communication. Payment sent promptly. Would be more than happy to deal with again - excellent transaction. Thanks again Alan.
12.
Peavey is the way forward. Quite literally indestructible. To Lozz's point though, only as long as you don't have to move it - they're flipping heavy. My old 50 watt combo weighed 25KG!
Yep - the BAM210 is FANTASTIC, I can't praise highly enough - tons of amp modelling effects, standard effects built in as well. If I had a gig to leave an amp in one place I would get another Peavey Bam. Weight if I remember rightly is 96lb(!!), but does come with wheels.
13.
Thought so but it's worth checking! No maple neck = big plus point for me What kind of weight is she?
She's coming out at approx 9.75lbs on my scales....
14. Ovangkol, from 2009 so the newer modern neck profile - more spec details added to original post.
15. A second hand Peavey Bam 210 would be my recommendation - fantastic combo only downside is the weight. If you can live with the weight of it (maybe once in situ in church then not being moved around often?) then it will do all you want it to. There is one for sale on here as well.
