1. Yes, looks nice doesn't it, very nice. Enjoy.
2. PM'ed - Hmmm...I've got a spare ACG EQ02 that I could drop into this if it would fit.
3. Sold a bass to Peter. Great to deal with, good communication and paid promptly. Would have no hesitation in dealing with again. Deal in confidence.
4. I realise this is over your budget but this rosewood Farida Jazz has a pull switch on the tone control to pull the pups into series. This gives a P bass sound as well as J bass - versatility with the best of both worlds. 5. Bloomin' 'ell Karl - wasn't expecting to see this up - well not this soon anyway . Looks fantastic in all black with the new plate. For those not in the know the neck woofer pickup gives a fantastic addition / range of sound. Basically it gives a lovely natural warm, deep, sound before the signal even needs any tweaking to suit on your amp. Great bass, great fella.
6.
Thanks, I'll give it some thought. Is the Joiners Arms still a venue in Chorley? I remember playing there back in the 70s.
Ok fella - PM me if you decide on any interest. Don't think the Joiner's is still around - a little before my time but still talked about with some affection on the local music scene. All the best....
7. Bargain - is this the one pre amp version or the two pre amp version?
8.
Nice pair - I have an FJB-6 and often fancied an FJB 20. Which model is the Farida FBM 8M, I can't find anything about them? Do you have the original FJB 20 neck to sell separately? What do these basses weigh? Thanks.
Apologies the bass is the FPB 18M this one here - will amend the reference as required on original post. http://www.faridaguitars.co.uk/v1/farida_fpb18.html Sorry - I do not have the original neck. I estimate circa 8 to 9lb on each for the weight - if it is a deal breaker I can arrange to somehow weigh the bass.
9.
A German made Warwick for £400? What am I missing...why is it not selling? BUMP.
Agreed..biased bump
10. Not sure but I would assume so.
11. I've got a couple of Farida basses. Both great basses with skinny necks.
12.
Stingrays are wired parallel, SUBs in series. And one uses ceramic magnets while the other alnico (I canna mind which is which just now).
Ah, think I've read that some Sub's are wired in series and some parallel... Not realised they were different pups before though.. Are they also different from a Stingray Classic?
13. Hmmm at most price points I'd still think them bloomin great. Are you talking about new or S/H prices?
14. Admittedly I'm a Farida lover, and Farida bass prices have been all over the place, £700+ here though - http://www.imusician.co.uk/acatalog/farida_fjb-20_tobacco_sunburst.html
15.
Hi, sorry, didn't read you'd add properly :/ was gonna ask if you fancied a bit of a trade , but I see you'd having fence issues.. If I sell mine I'll give you a shout, see if you still have it..
Yep - Straight sale needed please.
16.
German
Yep, confirmation, this is German.
17. Agreed, I know this area very well, can't think of anywhere that looks like this though. Also the word 'diaper' rings alarm bells. Scousers have a dialect of their own but diaper is not one of the words I'd have expected..
18. Effortlessly easy trade with Rasta - a complete doddle from start to finish. Great deal all round - would happily deal with again.
