If I sell mine I'll give you a shout, see if you still have it..
Yep - Straight sale needed please.
2.
German
Yep, confirmation, this is German.
3. Agreed, I know this area very well, can't think of anywhere that looks like this though. Also the word 'diaper' rings alarm bells. Scousers have a dialect of their own but diaper is not one of the words I'd have expected..

5. Effortlessly easy trade with Rasta - a complete doddle from start to finish. Great deal all round - would happily deal with again.

7. Legitimate Bump.....Deedee asked for more pics so I've uploaded more pics to the original post.
8. Absolutely agree. One of the great things of being a bassist is discovering great bass in all types of music. I use it as good practice for grooving. As much of this music is 'atonal' you can basically play any notes and concentrate on locking into the rythmn and grooving. I'd love a few more links guys to other stuff I've probably not stumbled across yet.
9. Last night - Blackpool Empress Ballroom. Brand New Heavies, Andrew Levy absolutely amazing. Effortless, funky, busy but in the pocket. The whole band were great actually - crystal clear sound. Super tight. Great bass sound, played a Fender Jazz for most of the night, couple of songs on a 4 string thumb and a couple on a sparkly 5 string Warwick SS1. The Warwicks were brilliant - without a doubt the best tone I've ever heard - Not a P bass in sight! Andrew was playing through a TC Electronics rig. We were right at the front, high fived most of the band and got a full on handshake with Andrew Levy! Couple of pics:
10.
I played the one in BassGear last week. These are awesome basses. The tone is just....wow, and the finish is great as it looks like you can touch the grain, but the bass is actually smooth to the touch.
Crikey - £1295 at Bass Gear ("unused / mint but preowned ") - convincing myself to keep it now. Mrs Bagsieblue is pushing me to sell a bass but may need a hey ho from me as well??
11.
Pmd
Replied - still here up for grabs......
12.
........ They never fail to have me dancing round the field like a druid on speed!
Ha - nice turn of phrase...
13. Slightly surprised at some of the "hard rock" suggestions. Are we thinking hard rock = soft metal??
14. Long shot but you don't fancy a trade for my Farida do you? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/222095-now-l350-fs-ft-farida-hb20-hypersonic-series-set-neck-pj-lightweight-cw-farida-hard-case/
15. Good luck mate - had I not been on my Christmas do you could have coloured me interested.
16. I've had one and played a few others. Generally, the are OK, nothing more nothing less. For the money there are better, undervalued basses that do not sport the premium of the Fender / Squier name. I had a Westfield P that was much better, also the Vintage P Basses, especially the Tony Butler signature one.
17.
Ah cool well you know what I have as trade bait would it be of any interest to you?
No thanks friend - needing to reduce the collection.
18.
Serial is C-046359-98 ...could this mean its a 98 after all ? Stick yours up Bagsie, i'm in no rush to part with this
Yep C = March xxxxxxxx 98 = 1998. No point us competing against each other mate. I'm happy to let you have a run at it. I'm under pressure from my gaffer (Mrs Bagsieblue) to sell a bass.....so while I'm in no great rush, Mrs Bagsieblue is....
19. some years ago I gave one of my ..erm...erm 'disciples' some advice that they were too still and shoe gazing on stage. Lent him a wireless transmitter to help free him up a bit. Very next gig I was shocked, stunned and amazed to see him spinning like a b'std.....nearly screwed himself into the floor. Next advice was telling him he was moving around too much!!!
20. Never been sure where Rock / Heavy Rock / Metal......and onwards starts and ends. To me Heavy Rock is still 'danceable', metal becomes 'moshable' For me got to be Appetite For Destruction, Guns n Roses. Not a bad track on it.
