ahh - Mrs Bagsieblue was going on about going to one of the Bruno Mars concerts. Being too cool for school , I said I didn't fancy it. If anyone has a couple of spare tickets for the Liverpool gig on 24th Nov then colour me interested.

Looks very familiar - even the carpet looks like mine . Excellent bass - great value for money. This bass is the VERY SAME one as in the video - own a piece of Farida history. I'd be tempted to have this back had I not got the higher spec FJB20 Model - again another great bass. Love Farida's I do, both of these Farida's give my Non Export CIJ Fender Jazz with Nordstand Pups and Pre a run for their money!

Broadly agree, not all that different as people like to think as well, even more so in a live mix. That said, I'd replace Ibanez with Warwick in your list though.
Fantastic. If it were £1500 I would be after that. Surprised if he gets £2k for it.
Lovely bass there Karl... Lot of money in times when not a lot about, maybe he's open to offers?

What's the worst bass you've ever owned or played?
bagsieblue replied to Marc S's topic in Bass Guitars
Westfield - small bodied, Warwickesque, 5 String. Awful, awful awful. Weak pickups, tone controls next to useless..... Can't believe I gigged it for so long - when I got a MIM Jazz Deluxe the difference was like night and day. -

......Will shortly withdraw and try and sell something else if this doesn't go..... soon NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE!!!!!!!! MM USA SUB (Stingray's Ugly Brother) 4 String Black. USA Musicman quality , classic Stingray sounds and in excellent playing condition. Active 2 band EQ model. I need to be sensible about the collection and I'm getting a little attached to the fretless $$ that I've put up on here as well. Great sound, great condition. Some slight wear on the back of the painted neck as is normal. Body is in great condition. I've touched in the minor marks on the headstock with a black marker - looks great. All cleaned up and board oiled.. Can't see any wear on the board or frets to speak of Price is £399. Collection or shipment both possible. Any trial or inspection welcome. I'm in Chorley, Lancs.
Hi there, You say the neck has been expertly attached by a luthier. Is the neck not original Warwick? How come it needed attaching? It looks a nice bass. Cheers Richard
Thanks Richard - it is a very nice bass indeed . Yes, the neck is an original Warwick, the original neck was fretted. I have had this neck swapped out it to make it a fretless $$. These are quite rare to find, an unlined fretless German Warwick. The RRP of an $$ is currrently £1500+ -

New Bass Collection models - Anyone tried them or own one?
bagsieblue replied to molan's topic in Bass Guitars
Are any of these linked to the SGC Nanyo Bass Collection basses? - or am I right in thinking they are just using the 'Bass Collection' 'name'? Nice bass Mikhay77 - what's it like? Any idea if this is linked to the (same factory) as the SGC Nanyo Bass Collections? -
Gone gone gone..... For Sale / Trade as I'm not really making the most of having this bass. Open to trades on anything really - please PM me, the worst I can say is "No Thank You". Spector Euro 5LX in Black Cherry. Manufactured in 2007. Non Adjustable Tone Pump. Note that the Tone Pump is not boost only as commonly believed, see here: http://basschat.co.u...spector%20boost Amazing, high specification, high quality bass guitar. Neck through construction. Note that this bass had been converted into a fretless - with a new fretless board, but was then subsequently refretted. The board is smooth, frets crowned and plays superbly with a lovely, low, fast action There are some marks on the body of the bass from steaming off the original fretboard, please see photographs. They are like a sort of ...err.. Purple Haze (sorry Jimi...) above the neck pickup. I have tried to capture these but they are hard to capture. More than happy to supply more pictures if there is interest. The inlays on the board are the excellent, high quality, vinyl stick on types from Creative Cutz. Please contact me for any other pictures or information. Much prefer to deal in person to ensure both sides are happy. I'm based in Lancashire, as always any trial or inspection more than welcome.
