  1. You sure its gonna be £120? That would be a very different price point to other mini 200 watt heads. You could maybe imagine Bugera doing one at that price ( ironically the same owners as TC now)
  2. I'll bring my Buttercream Player Precision. Could the Caterer's note that although I'm bringing buttercream, they should not stint on the cake fillings....
  3. Unfortunately although this ( and previous) Governments have said they would take multi-nationals to task over tax they have not. Given the UK is home of huge tax avoidance with legions of dodgy companies registered here laundering money through UK Banks, it is no wonder multi-nationals like Amazon don't take us seriously. The same elite who are taking us out of the EU have loads of money invested offshore so they don't pay the tax. And no guesses where Arron Banks hides all his money........
  4. Presumably Far East manufacture and a long way to send it back to Australia where the seller is, if there's a problem?
  5. When you buy anything from eBay you have a choice of options to ask the seller a question. This includes 'item was not received' e.g. I have a question about using my item or I want to send the seller a message (0) I didn’t receive my item (2) I need to return my item (1) I received an item that wasn't as described (1) Request to cancel this order (1) Other (0) We'll look for an answer for you
  6. Surely if you are buying on eBay of any nationality, you are still covered by the eBay guarantee?
  7. It's got an interesting bridge: not sure if its the Wilkinson one you could buy a few years ago where the twin saddles pivoted on the central screws so you could get some semblance of adjustment across the adjoining strings? Headstock has been redone, as it's a different colour to the neck.
  8. I seem to average a couple of gigs a month, 2 of the 3 I was doing in January got cancelled due to the weather.
  9. I bought mine from a well known auction site, second hand, a couple of months old. The first owner had put in 1962 CS pickups: I asked him why, he said he thought the OEM ones sounded too modern!
  10. Like this? I swapped out the non oem pearloid white scratchplate for a black one....
  11. On the subject of Warwick, Thomann are clearing some of their LWA 1000 ( two channel) amps for less than £400 too.
  12. Sean bought some pickups from me. Instant payment, great comms. and a credit to this site.
  13. Cancelled last night and another one tonight, due to snow ( or rather they can't get the staff in work tonight).😕
  14. Just sold some pickups to David, instant payment and great comms. A Basschat stalwart.
  15. Watched the full documentary last night, as it was repeated. Some total gems: Matt or Luke said in all seriousness, 'Taken my lead from Stevie Wonder, I don't believe in superstition'! The faces of the musos as they tried to rehearse with this pair of petulant children were amusing, given they had to remain very tactful. Someone must have put together a lucrative deal for the reunion, as the twins had very real issues with each other ( and reality)!
  16. Nice review, but can I be the first to point out the pickups seem installed crooked....
  17. About £200 more than they're worth, mainly due to the awful relicing...
  18. So that's the meaning of a 'Torch' song?
