  1. You pay me £5,500 and I'll collect it and lock it away for 21 years then...?
  2. One for a 'collector' to lock away for 20 years?
  3. Just got a new Ninja Combo, so selling my loved 802. Bought new for £575 just 2 years ago in January 2016 and only had 2 issues: firstly got the handle replaced under warranty as the rubber strap separated and secondly people keep on asking me to turn the volume down, as it is so loud and punchy! It's 250 watts at 4 ohms and 150 at 8 ohms and was rarely more than 12 o'clock on the volume. Used it for small gigs, rehearsals and home practice. As with all my gear it is well looked after and comes with the compulsory (for me) Roqsolid cover which was around £50. I still have the OEM box for it, so will be well packed to the manufacturers specification, with Courier at the purchaser's expense, weight is 12.5 kg. Usually this is where people c&p the manufacturers spec but I thought I would break with tradition.... You get 1 gain control and the ubiquitous VPF and VLE which handle the EQ. Other features are a headphone socket and mini aux in for playing along and quiet practice. You can switch the speakers on or off and there is a ground lift switch and speaker out (if you needed to add another speaker) too. With a P Bass I only used the VPF at 1 o'clock for a gritty P Bass tone. I also used it for a 5 string bass with no issues as well. This is in very good condition with no dints or scratches on the grill or other metal parts and the furry covering is not torn anywhere. I believe these are very prized by the Double Bass community too.
  4. Mine was that colour although I'm sure it came in a Hiscox case with the Status name on it.
  5. Loads of 11mm ones eBay but they are more indoor than outdoor....
  6. It's a 'Fiat Chroma' which looks quite like 'Flat Chromes' at a glance......🙄
  7. Every time I see this Thread title I think of:
  8. He'd scrape a living as a working musician ( as many even big names do) and yet he is worth millions as a online Tutor.
  9. Bought a Markbass Combo from Joe. Great deal, prompt comms. and was a pleasure to buy from.
  10. And being Fender its a snip at c.£1500
  11. Don' think Affinity's have 'designed by Duncan' on the pickups unless they've been swapped out?
  12. Interesting debate around how faithful to the original you need to be. One of the bands I play with do an Open Mic where we invite musicians we know in advance to play, and we'll accompany them as well as doing stuff ourselves. It's often me who points out at rehearsal some of the notes/keys/ rhythms that others have missed in their learning of the tune but equally it has been said back that we can develop our own version, different to the original too.
  13. Be good if we could pin this post, I'm bound to forget about Transferwise....
