    Got this as part of a trade but surplus to requirements. As new, maple board, 3 e.q.'s nice neck. Lovely to play. Unfortunately does not come with bed sheet, despite it being a Tracey Emin original...... I've used the original owner's photos with his permission, thanks Tom!

    Dunno, they were on when I bought it secondhand. The first owner thought the OEM ones were 'too modern' and swapped them out and who was I to object? I've got USA Classics, Japanese Squier's and an Oil City single coil in a Blue Flower bass. Withe exception of the last one, they all sound very similar on flats and through a Markbass...

    It had a grey pearloid on it when I got it and I changed it back to the OEM one which is as photographed. I looked into an adonised gold one: £60 from Fender....! Have now just done a quick overlay with a yellowy pearloid, so you can see the effect!

    This is more 'mellow' yellow (Buttercream to be exact). It's a new series 2018 Mexican Player with maple neck, black pickguard and some Custom Shop pickups.

    I saw a Bowie tribute a couple of months ago and was struck at the time how simple sounding yet tricky some of TB's basslines were: almost Jamerson-like in that there were subtle differences on every verse.
