  1. Thought it was going to be another contentious 'Singer' ads but thankfully, not!
  2. Does all your gear and the roadies fit in it...?
  3. Big thanks to Scrumpy Mike and all the Scrumpettes for an excellent Bash. Sorry, could not stay any longer and wish I'd gone to the talks and shootout as well! Good to meet both old and new acquaintances too.
  4. I'd be wanting to look under the bridge cover and check out the saddles....
  5. I found my Micromark (8" and 50 watts) a very useful combo for practice in a small home room and at Open Mics and Acoustic Jams. The Miller version is of the same genre I'd say?
  6. 10.00-4.00? Wondered when I got there at 12.00 last year the car-park was almost full....
  7. When we were lads( on the penny farthing) we had sound effects too...piece of cardboard and a clothes pegs to attach it to the frame so it touched the spokes...
  8. Just remove the hazard triangle and its case, you'll get another shortscale in then...
  9. Either Car SOS or Wheeler Dealers did one of these up in the past. Their's was full of rust, this is apparently knot ......... I'm here all week
  10. Data harvesting..surely there can be nothing sinister in that........
  11. How often do you adjust your intonation.....? You could on the 'inferior parts argument' then replace the Tuners with modern lightweight ones, and go active pickups too? Not wishing to provoke an argument with you, but for me ( who has a twin saddle bridge on a Telebass) it's part of the charm, like neck dive and sore shoulders! I'm almost considering offering to swap my screws with yours but only have 2 and they may not be the same threads. I'd love a slotted screw! As you say, different strokes for different folks
  12. True, it was not just a case of pulling off the wires, one has to cope with the crossover so it means reattaching them onto different terminals
  13. Frogs legs and snails in garlic (sorry, very lazy stereotype)
  14. No mention in the spec of the 'custom' speaker cloth..... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Rumble-100-Combo-Bass-Amp-100-Watts-1x15-in/192499556909?hash=item2cd1de222d:g:vEIAAOSwSLtawe3e
  15. Why not see if a local Basschatter can help you out, must be a few around there? Cheddatom?
  16. Yep, I bypassed mine, there's a thread somewhere about it.
  17. You come on to a Bassplayers forum and ask if a real Bass is better than MIDI......? Bears in woods etc
  18. To be fair to Ben from Crimson, he brought it along as a conversation piece and I believe he made a subsequent one for Charlie with a wooden neck which was fine.
  19. You could bring that out for Suspicious Minds....?
  20. a deceased pigeon on said item would also keep punters at arms length...
  21. I'll have at least these 3 with me and for sale at very reasonable prices: Squier Jaguar 5 String in glorious Sunburst, as new. 51 P Bass relic in Lake Placid Blue with tinted neck, low rider flats. Jazz Bass copy unplayed, light hardware relic, re-cut, re-sprayed but bare headstock, add your own decal.... happy to reserve anything ahead of the Bash and all priced very competitively on the day ( or even now!). Contact me for further details (I have a current annual selling sub with BC, so all above board)
