    My first Bass was an EB2 and I compared it with a Gibson 335, they were identical in body and neck dimensions.

    Raffle I've a couple of gig bags that whilst not new are servicable and a decent Roqsolid zipped case as a bundle for the Raffle. Oh, and a picture of the Beatles on old photopaper and loads of Q CD's.

    Having replaced a fan once on a 250watt version might it be worth disconnecting the fan, use some switch cleaner and reconnecting? I think you are right ( from memory) that the fan is just a fan, these are basically just computer fans although I never managed to source one in the UK outside of the authorised repairer.

    Just an update re their website from Sunday's emailing: 'We have a brand new website coming and we are working hard to get it live in the next few weeks and it is getting all the stock on that is slowing us down.'

    It was my 72 Telecaster Bass's 50th Birthday this year so I was going to use it all year for gigs. Then I got a Nordstrand Acinonyx shorty early in the year and left the Tele behind. However going to get the Tele back out for the Priston Festival this weekend.
