1.
Hi Chaps and Chapesses, Can anyone give me their opinion on their experiences of the above combo please ? Is it possible to obtain a deep, warm, rich bass tone, only at low volumes and obviously not in a gigging environment - but just for home and studio use?? Thanking you in advance for your help and opinions Cheers, Tim
Yes!
2. He's selling them as 'New Other' which means he is not doing anything wrong in the eyes of eBay, although we know better in that he is not declaring they are decos anywhere.
3. Great transaction with Steve, he sent me money! Buy/sell with confidence from/to him.
4. I've used these people before: http://www.john-boddys-fwts.co.uk/
5. Speaking of euphemisms, is this one?
6. I love his comment about how he has created an 'aged look'. Mark, that's just you not shaving....!
7.
Quilted 4 string Deco up again as B Stock- £31! Sorry sold out now
Lefty Deco Ukes, £45 http://www.thomann.de/gb/decorative_guitars_and_basses.html?sid=f3220875c9fec54d63950b5685cd8177
8.
Even better have just found a no access card in my porch apparently people don't know how to knock doors anymore! This day just gets better and better. I have been sat waiting for them less than 3feet from the door. Even put off having a shower as I didn't want to miss them!
The good news is you can go and have your shower now....!
9. Does the Kissmet Bassist use a MarkBass Big Bhangra amp?
10. Ouch...all the best, hope you get things sorted!
11. 'The PJ briefcase takes a 7Ah battery, which lasts about an hour at high volumes. For a lot less money, you could get a caravan battery and a 12v to 240 volt convertor, and run a medium powered mains rig all day. But it would be a lot less portable.' I've seen people busking with a regular Bass combo and the latter option complete with large trolley!
12. Having hardly used the RJ TTE 500 Head and 15" Cab recently, just the CMD121, I've been looking out for a NY 121 cab to pair with it. Saw one on eBay, it arrived today, loving the depth to the sound it gives when paired up. Takes me back to my first Markbass rig: LMII with 151 T and 210 T cab......why did I break that up? I guess the TTE 500 Head (which is brilliant) and 15" RJ cab will be up for sale soon.....damn you GAS!
13. Not interested but it may be helpful for you to put where you live!
14. I have a couple of bulging vertebrae and have found Pilates really useful. Likewise is the advice 'different courses for different horses and one size does not fit all' Others will poo poo but a holistic view( in its broadest sense) may be helpful too. I've also found relief from pain with Acupuncture and McTimoney Chiropractor. Good luck!
15. Yes, but who was filming them driving around on the roads? And who is that Mitch Your?
16. Appalled that my license fee was used up by Rhod and some mate driving around in a number of Splitter Vans when they could have fitted into a Fiesta and avoided seemingly crashing into a number of obstacles. Did the voiceover in the Eddie Stobart programmes drive to the Depots in a 40 ton artic? As for the music? Pah!
17. Pino also played on US Artist Don Henley's solo albums.
18. Brand new Set of Foil-packed Rotosound Rotobass RB45 Nickel on Steel Roundwound Strings. Unwanted Gift, due to my name...... Not bothering with a photo for these! £2.00 postage.
19. Quilted 4 string Deco up again as B Stock- £31! Sorry sold out now
20. I believe Richard Osman does Two Tribes when not on Pointless...
21. Looks like he's already taken too much off to make a Tbird neck.....
