1.
i noticed the mini thumb is now 'due back in stock' has it been sold to a warrick nut? or has someone accidently bought it?
Apparently it is their biggest seller in the Deco category, and a true Deco!
 2. Self confessed "Bass legend" Divinity Roxx and Die So Fluid Bassist Grog Rox are looking at a collaboration. As usual, they cannot think up a name for the Duo.
 3. Due to health and safety concerns around fumes, Primus have cancelled their Tour of indoor venues and are relocating to outdoor festivals.

I don't know, but someone in my family might...
I often say to the kids "We are family" ( when I say kids I don't mean NKOTB)
 5.
Was that around the time that they invited Dennis Weaver to one of their gigs? One of the regular fans didn't like the look of Dennis, and pounced upon him, leading Mick to cry... Hey! You! Get off of McCloud!
So what was Weaver's Answer?
 6. I'll wait till they do a Deko one I think....
 7.
It was in 1965 that The Byrds took off.
So why did the Stones not sink a few years earlier?
 8.
There have been no posts from mr1989 since shortly after the bass arrived. I hope that it's not the case that there was a deadly poisonous spider living in the control cavity that bit him once he started playing it and annoyed the spider with low frequency vibrations.
I have it on good authority it was actually a Chinese Dragon...
 9.
The singer from the Police's real name is Ray
It's a shame it's about Ray
 10.
The singer from the Police's real name is Ray
Sure that's not The Kinks?
 11.
CSNY was all right, but I prefer the original series, the one set in Las Vegas.
12.
You're a [s]sticker[/s] stickler for detail, it would seem.
CSNY album I believe....
 13.
It will be transferred, then..?
As it's in the USA shouldn't it be a decal rather than a transfer?
 14.
Well, OK then. Tomorrow, Stalbridge..!
Nah, first we take Manhattan
 15. I know a well regarded Luthier who had a CNC machine, which he was using to make wooden place mats! However it was not his machine and he was lent it for that specific job.
 16.
What went up AT ? I don't see anything other than the baby Warwick,Banjo and Reso.
Around 7.20 pm there were PJ 4 and 5 stringers. From earlier the site indicated 7 decos but you could only see the 3 you mentioned, then around 7.24 the PJ's were available. When I looked (and thought do I need another one?) they were all still available too.
 17. Showing the 4 and 5 string PJ basses now yet earlier it was not....
 18. Decos, says 7 available but only the 3 long termers on show..?
 19. Plenty on Youtube, quite a good piece by Crimson Guitars (Ben Crowe spoke at the Dorset Bass Bash). Check out the series about buying a cheap kit bass and the episode on sorting the neck/frets
 20. I've used plywood /plexi templates and a handheld plunge /table router in the past. Not as quick as CNC but a damn sight cheaper! I worked with a Luthier whose stock in trade was hand built acoustics and there is a certain satisfaction in building "the box" from flat pieces of wood that have been steamed and shaped.
 21.
I doubt the bass is worth very much - its a Dean which does not seem to be a very good brand and its only around the £400 - £500 mark when it was new and I doubt I will use it in its current fretted form even if it was perfect as I have another bass I prefer to play. I figure I may as well de-fret the thing as it'd be interesting to try a fret-less bass without having to pay out for one on the off-chance I like it. I'm hoping it will help me develop my ear too since I'm going to have to really listen to what I'm playing. As to the guides, I'll certainly check out pretty much everything I can before attacking the bass. I was going to get started to day but didnt manage to get a new set of strings for it (it has some pretty nasty old round-wound right now). Oh, and thank you for the heads up regarding the nut. It's got a pretty heavy-duty brass nut at the moment so I guess the best thing may be to simply purchase a replacement that is designed for fretless?
If you can remove the nut, just take the excess height from the underneath , that way you preserve the existing nut slots.
 22. Plenty of guides on YouTube if you need to look at how it's done rather than read about it...! Alternatively it may be possible to tap down the errant frets thus saving yourself a load of work. Don't know if anyone else mentioned it but you may need to lower the nut too, if going fretless....
 23.
... and tomorrow, the World..!
Uh, let's walk before we run...
 24.
You forgot about the veteran C & W star, who will mime through her whole set.
and shouty singer just recovered from a broken ankle....
 25. If you did win the Bass you would have to start tuning it now to get it ready in time....! Wonder if that D'Adarrio String 50% offer would apply too?
