    Turned out the guy didn't really understand the term "Powered". He had a "Powered" desk in that it was "powered by electricity" but did not have an internal amp section. He did however have "Powered" speakers which did have an internal amp but it seems either combination will work with a powered desk.

    Seen them a few times now always a great gig. Looks like Rocco Prestia is back on Bass after his transplant and all the drummers I know seem to rate David Garibaldi.

    Not only is the father of Countryside Alliance Supporter Otis Ferry, Bryan Ferry headlining his latest Tour but he has arranged the Tour Personnel's transport between gigs by boat which he himself is Skippering. Needless to say it has a bumper sticker saying simply, "Bryan's Ferry"

    For reasons I don't need to go into on here, is it possible/safe to use a powered desk if you use powered speakers? I have powered speakers and a passive desk myself and know that combination works....!
