Who Thought This Was a Good Idea?

"Late to the Party"? Being a Hofner, I'm guessing it won't be UKIP...? -
60's Heart throb and Housewife's favourite, Val Doonican got bored of sitting on a rocking chair singing "Paddy McGinty's Goat" and "Walk Tall" on Saturday Night at the London Palladium. He formed a new band and named it "The Cardigans" after his favoured item of knitwear. They rejected his choice for a new single "Delaney's Donkey" so he retired to relative anonymity in Spain.

The model needed is a Le Son TLX1 but I can't find a UK seller of them. There's a few in the USA which is daft as they are Swiss! -

A Premier League website are rumoured to be interested in the Alternative Rock Factfile. Sky's Jim White is actually outside Yorks5stringer's house as this is being posted and local farm labourers are gurning in the background. The popular 50's Bassist has however pledged his loyalty to Basschat saying "They plucked me from semi-obscurity and gave me this platform to demonstrate my skills and I could not leave them in the lurch." However rumours still persist that he has been offered his own "Humour Lounge" by the PL website rather than having to slum it in "General Discussion".

Funny things that people say to you at gigs
yorks5stringer replied to Tom Brookes Music's topic in General Discussion
Last band were a Jump Jive, Loius Jordan type of set up with us all dressed in gangster suits. Guy comes up to me during our last gig on NYE during "Choo Cho Ch Boogie", and asks "Do you do "Happy"?" -
I'll come along.... if I'm not gigging which would be unlikely...!

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, how do you manage it?
yorks5stringer replied to Horizontalste's topic in General Discussion
I have wrist splints which I stopped wearing in bed but have retried them and they help. Re the article above, when I went to the Specialist the first thing he said to me was "The tests I do are inconclusive, but if you describe your symptoms and they fit the pattern for this then that is what I base my diagnosis on". So I had loads of muscle reaction tests where they send volts down your arm and they measure how long for your arm to twitch.... I don't get the pain others describe and since I stopped playing the EUB, very little numbness. Apart from drinking loads of H2O my diet (as a veggie) is rich in fruit and veg. I get by with hardly any inconvenience but appreciate for others it's a different story. -
Alternative Rock Factfile (hereinafter known as "The thread") is to be sold off next month by majority share holder and popular beat combo bassist york5stringer. The Dorset based entrepeneur made the decision when it was discovered that he now officially owns more than 51% of all the thread contributions. In a statement issued earlier today, he told us that none of the 60's pop group "The Four Pennies" ever actually knew a girl called Juliet.
Popular antipodean band Crowded House were always more interested in the business than the music. Leader Neil Finn came up with the concept of "Crowded House" funding for business start-ups and has become a Millionaire. Popular beat combo Bassist Yorkshire5stringer has denied rumours of a sell-off of his majority share of the Alternative Rock factfile ( more like 95% of contributions, natch) until the thread has reached 20,000 posts. He told Huffington Post reporters that the Google van outside his house was in fact doing Google Maps and he was instructing them to remove pictures of him in his vest and underpants at the living room window playing his Bass as the van panned its camera around.
The Eden EC10 sounds good. I haven`t had many to compare it too, but i like it. It gets good reviews. Just got a couple of newies: First Aid Kit-Stay Gold and Mark Ronson, Uptown Funk. The First Aid kit was something I would not have bought new but maybe reduced in 18 months time but Google gave me it. Really enjoying the voices and arrangements, love to play with a band like this, so fresh and different. Mark Ronson apart from the obvious track sounds like one of those "Best of Funk" Albums, lots of decent separate tracks but not a cohesive album. Find myself irritated by the lack of continuity in musical moods. -
60's songstress Sandie Shaw made a number of bad financial and managerial decisions early in her career and consequently had to declare bankruptcy. She was so poor she could not afford footwear and would appear on stage bare-footed. Her career was given a boost by the Pet Shop Boys in the 90's but even this was imperilled by her standing in their cat litter tray one day by accident.

When Johnny Kidd and the Pirates split up in the late 60's Johnny Kidd went on the train to be a Doctor. After a few years in general practice prescribing Mogadon and Viagra to the residents of Southend he got bored and started up a new band, Dr Hook and the Medicine Show. Following their demise he went on to Blind Faith before joining Third Eye Blind. He's on their latest release, "Patches"

Beckenham based songster David Jones (Bowie) found things were not "Hunky Dory" when he called into his local branch of "Jean Jeanie" to buy a pair of gold loon pants in the 70's. They were out of his size (28 waist and 30 leg) and asked him to come back in at the weekend when they would have more stock. Jones asked if they would send him them, as he did not want to "Drive in Saturday".

Right it's all here. You need to buy a cable that plugs into the examiner port or get someone to do it for you... http://forum.multiecuscan.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1856
