Well, that's over 10,000 views in 2 months which was my aim at the beginning. Cough, " I'd like to thank my family, my friends and most of all,you the Basschat members for helping achieve this". "Applause" I think this genre still has legs so will continue to contribute as whimsy takes me. I hope fellow contributors will also do so, and likewise readers. The rest, as they say, is history.

Carpenters at the BBC? They were probably there building sets, mind that's all gone now and they have contracted that out....

Just £65 which is ridiculous for an item of this quality. Bought off here last Autumn, but just a little too large ( and it's still only tiny) for the space next to my desk in the bedroom for practising! Surprisingly punchy for a 10" speaker with 50 watts, have actually used it for a rehearsal with guitar, keys, mouth harp and drums and it was fine. Ideal first amp/practise amp and due to its kickback design, can be tilted so the sound carries better. In good condition, just some cosmetic marks on the Eden badge stop it looking as new. Has a headphone out so can be used for silent practice.
Decoration only banjo, anyone? http://www.thomann.d...g_banj_deko.htm
That's a bit more of a punt at £98...? -

I had some chamo trousers once, took them off and never saw them again. -
I've always loved fashion. It's part of the fun of gigging. I exercise, keep my hair professionally colored I always coordinate what I wear to each and every gig. And at 61 it's not easy. I know nothing about fashion, I'm still working on a sort of retro 60s look. Most guys I know, are oblivious to fashion and are perfectly comfortable showing up for a gig in their work clothes.Everybody's different. We had the Luthier from Crimson Guitars, Ben Crowe come to our Bass Bash last year. He brought along a prototype totally Perspex Bass built for Charlie Jones, it weighed a ton and the neck flexed at will. Next version had a wooden neck or at least a wooden fingerboard.

"Whatever" comes close for me.
Reading through the stage outfits thread and my recent secret santa gift (Great idea to whoever it was by the way) has got me thinking about how I dress more on stage. I'm lucky in the sense that it isn't a covers band and don't have to attend smart functions etc but I would like to dress nice every so often. Basically I have this horrible ability/curse to wear any sort of smart clothing and look like I'm going to court. I can just about manage to wear a shirt and look semi-comfortable but anything more than that and I just look/feel a bit ridiculous. I can't be the only one...can I?
I don't know, I think the Bay City Rollers look is due a comeback.....just go easy on the platform shoes! Sorry, that wasn't very helpful? -
Has anybody got a direct contact for Stagg please? My emails to my local Stagg dealer regarding the dead piezo are falling on deaf ears. Also, does anybody know of an alternative to the standard Stagg piezo wires?
I bought a replacement Stagg Piezo for an EUB I made having damaged the ones that they kindly gave me when I replaced a 'thirsty' active circuit on my own Stagg. I went into a local dealer of Stagg things and just got them to order it. The stock Basses had 2, I only needed one so it was around £15 plus VAT 4 years ago. When I looked at the time, I could not find a contact on the Stagg website so just went through a shop I knew dealt with Stag but was not an EUB seller.
Ah, you mean Slovenia who, ranked 24th in 2014, were one place above South Korea in the Legatum Prosperity Index rankings recently published: http://en.wikipedia....x#2014_Rankings Is there a history of cats going astray in Slovenia then?
Shush, don't mention North Korea....!
