In an unexpected change of policy, Iceland have just announced a new addition to their "Premier League" Food range (any 3 for £5) for Christmas. Endorsed by "Mysterious Girl" Singer and I'm a Celebrity...err Celebrity, Peter Andre, it's a twist on the Three Bird Roast. Peter explained, "I've taken a heavily bronzed Jordan Foul, an Ostrich and an Emu and combined them. Unfortunately, I won't be doing stuffing". Apparently many Premier league Footballers are however already heavily tweeting this Christmas centrepiece. Peter also has a new album released for Christmas, called "Mum's gone to Iceland". He explained, I feel this album (3 for £5) captures the spirit of Christmas and my favourite track is "See Her". He sings ( to a cod reggae beat) " I really wanted to see her yeah, so we met at the Ice Cream Freezer" Ivor Novello Award here I come.

Leather clad rocking Bassist, Suzi Quattro has been awarded an unexpected accolade this week. Forget Jamie Oliver and Hugh Whitting-Fearnlystall, Suzi has been credited with changing Britain's eating habits following her single "Can The Can". In the song she urged teenagers to can the can and eat fresh, frozen or Sous Vide foods. Chain -smoking Nigel Farage awarded her "Britain's Best Dietary Educator" at an award ceremony at the Dog and Duck yesterday.

Soulsters Daryl Hall and John Oates wrote "Maneater" for the Jaws Movie. However it was rejected in favour of the John Williams track "B flat ,C". Oates commented. "It could have been written by a child". John Williams (aged 3) countered with, "It's just sour Grape(nuts). (I've just transcribed the Jaws Theme on stave and tab, this is available from me by PM. I find it goes down quite well at Fishing Society Gigs and is a firm favourite with those Fishermens Friends too)

Body Art Billboard David and Fashion Magnate Victoria Beckham have always been interested in music, so much so they named their first born after their favourite Steely Dan track. Their second born after a Dire Straits track, third born after a Frankie Ford hit and last born after a Jeannnie C Reilly ditty.
Bill Clinton never had any political aspirations until his brother, George, formed his band and called it Parliament. The closest Bill ever got to George's achievements was when his Government was described as 'One nation under an imbecile'.
Quite lot of blowing going on mind then?

Ronnie Lane was an unheralded Bassist, never playing the obvious. I had "Long Player" by the Faces back in the 70's, there's a great live version of Maccas "Maybe I'm Amazed"
