  1. Following an online campaign, Professor Green has admitted he is not what he calls himself. Pink has pre-empted any calls to be outed however.
  2. Both Earth Wind and Fire and The Four Seasons have reported declining sales due to climate change.
  3. A chance conversation between Tom Robinson and Sting inspired "Massage in a Bottle". Unfortunately the ink ran inside the damp bottle and when the lyrics were removed, Sting who was pre Tantric at the time, went for the less holistic option.
  4. Daryl Hall and John Oates were inspired to write the Chart Hit "Sara Smile" after watching Sara Bareilles on MTV singing "I'm not going to write you a Love Song". Although both songs charted at No 4, "Sara Smile" has been awarded a Gold Disc for sales.
  5. A youthful Ricki Ross lost the number given to him by Steely Dan frontman Donald Fagen and missed out on joining that Band. To get his revenge he formed his own Band and named it after a Steely Dan song, Deacon Blue.

Fiona Apple is the oldest solo singer, All about Eve the oldest duo, Snake Davis the oldest saxophonist and Adam Ant the oldest Myremecologist. Edit: it has been pointed out the oldest looking Rock Band in the World are in fact The Rolling Stones
