1.
I'll swap the cornflakes for a Gear4Music acoustic bass with the neck snapped in three places, but only if you've removed the branding and am claiming that it's as good as an Ovation.
OK, may as well get AT to send the cornflakes straight to you, it will save me the postage....... Just put the G4M Bass in an envelope!
2.
I was not looking to buy it, but if I were that would be enough for me not to bother. What a cock.
It all ties together now as the symbol of Kellogs Corn Flakes is a Cock....
3.
thanks moon bass alpha, now to try and find gadge .
http://basschat.co.uk/user/7188-gadge/
4. I'll take them. Please post them to Mr H Benton, Snap Crackle and Pop , 99 Coronation Street, Manchester, M99 6 EQ. Will you take cash?
5. No one expected that Bass to show up again, especially with the original hang tag......
6.
Actually not bad sounding, just couldn't get over the weight.
Were they slow to post it then...?
7. Nice little earner, buy a Bass for £99, absent mindedly rub off HB logo then sell on eBay for £150 with accompanying smokescreen of spurious facts. Who does that remind me of? (rhetorical question)
8. Given its clear Pyrex, at least the diagnosis of a detached wire should be accurate....
9. Not seen any mention of "head room".( as in the extra created when an additional speaker/speakers is added).....
10. Just don't get one with a Tort pickguard or else you'll end up with this and it will only get worse....(it's where my highly abrasive thumb is anchored and has worn through the finish in 5 months of intermittent playing)
11. http://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_hbb1975_na.htm
12.
How the chuff can this possibly be repaired?!?!?
Graft/glue on another piece of wood to the headstock, shape and spray it the same colour as the body...hardly seems worth it however!
13. Err .....shouldn't we be looking at John Deacon's Rig Rundown?
14. Its safe to say (rule of thumb) all valve heads need a load or you will blow them ( there's a separate thread somewhere, I think from last week about this) but you wouldn't be travelling by train with a valve head anyway...would you?
15. Just contact the man himself, he's very amenable. From memory, his website has wiring diagrams too.
16. Just don't use a Dutch masterpiece as it will come in a bit pricy.....
17. Aimee Mann, check her out here: http://www.aimeemann.com/
18. Err, my car's better than yours....!
19. Looks like you could use it to stand on if you flip it around.....
20.
Anything else you want amended?
No, otherwise I'd have already asked you to do it in my previous post. Thanks.
