1. Looks like a standard Timex to me....
2. I heard a few years ago that Picato could wind you a custom set, don't know if that is still the case...?
3. "Also, it's professionally aged by the guys at Sandberg so its cosmetically perfect." How could you tell...?

5. Heard a trailer today on Radio 2, think its all about her and her session work including interviews. See its mentioned in another thread but you'd have to delve into that thread to see the info.....!
6. My genuine SM 58 bought at least 10 years ago was made/assembled in Mexico
7. I told a fellow Bass player in a Band at the Pizza Express in Dean Street I had a Warwick Star Bass. He asked me if I was into Bootsy Collins......

15.
I tried to send an amp to someone via CityLink. It never got collected by them, but they did try to deliver a large retail display unit on a palate, which my buyer declined. Another courier sorted my amp in the end, and as a bonus, I had a large retail display unit on a palate 'returned' to me. It's still here, and CityLink showed no interest in returning it to its rightful owner. They still insist that it's mine.
On a palate?, I wonder how you eat...!
16. That reminds me I've been missing the bridge too, I love those Scandinavian dramas....
17. MyHermes lost a laptop I sent but luckily I got the insurance as I'd paid extra to have it signed for. Equally due to a tiny error in the postcode they messed a buyer of mine about despite the Town being clearly marked on the package. They deliver for Lands End and do their collections fine but its usually someone in the family car delivering in between picking the kids up from school around my way...
18.
Isn't is fairly obvious that the final metre or so of wire that connects your amp to a power station a few hundred miles away is bound to make a massive difference to the sound . . . . Still, the placebo effect might well affect how people actually perceive sounds based on what they believe is going on, so I reckon it's more a matter of psychology than physics.
I used to quite like Placebo....
