If I must be pedantic, why have they said "Am really satisfied in buying your ad"? I doubt that is what any genuine buyer would say given Gumtree ads are usually locally based. Why no enquiry about the amp? Why did they say "Ad"? Because they send out hundreds of these scam relies and can't be bothered to tailor them to the actual item being sold. Likely scenario is that the paypal link is false ( or they will send a dodgy link later) and as they have your paypal name already, will then get the ID and away they go. Any monies sent will then be reversed. I doubt Paypal will back you if you have revealed your id albeit through a hacked account, even if they do it will mean loads of hassle.

So he's a Chinese amp designer who used to buy in Chinese valve amps, mod them and sell them on. Now he has a small factory in Margate and an ex Telecoms van and makes it all in house. He is now the best Amp and speaker maker in the Universe. Simples....

Been hassling Ben for a response and the total cost for a 4 hour session (including BBQ lunch) would be £220. So for 5 people it would be £44 each. He's getting back to me on potential dates/venues. Yes, bring your own Bass.

Yes I got a bit emotional at LBS asking him a question, I just love the stuff he plays on, tight as a gnats chuff ( can I still say that?)..... The missus was dead impressed when he was on the Gene Clark documentary on BBC 4 Friday night and I said "I've met him and shaken his hand"!

Just got "A Perfect Contradiction " by Paloma Faith. All the usual suspects involved including Pharrell, Raphael Siddique, The Dap-King Horns and Plan B. Really enjoying it, very friendly on the ear, just not enough real Bass, lots of synthesised Bass sounds.

Dark Felt Tip the holes, no-one will see them once you are on stage...
