  1. Must admit I thought you were nailed on for 'that band' when I heard about X... some people can be 'son' of a beaches...! Anyway good it is all sorted.
  2. Thanks all, I've been to the Rainbow many moons ago too...but that explains why it did not come up on a search of current venues.
  3. Not familiar with London venues so I'm enlisting the BC massive, as stuck on this crossword clue... _ _ I _ _ O _ (7 letters and the I is an i)! Any help gratefully received!
  4. Thanks, but you did tell me when you said "I really like your teeth". But it's nice to get repeated compliments. Thanks.
  5. Just got back with my mate Jim from Turin as we both depped for Subwolfer. Good job I like Bananas...( this only works if you know my first name)!
  6. Maybe Rat Scabies could be interested in it?
  7. No, it's much better, I seem to recall there used to be a topless weather presenter at one time....
  8. I contacted them about a bass stand I had bought from them nearly 3 years ago as one of the anti-rock tags on the head had broken ( not not that kind of anti-rock!). Sent a photo and they said keep it and we'll send you another which they did by return. Granted if it was an amp they'd probably want the broken one back but they were exemplary with the stand which I'd bought nearly 3 years ago but had broken it maybe 18 months ago and forgotten about the warranty.
  9. If you buy from Thomann you get an extra year to 3 years.
  10. Yep, just try getting a long stand.....!
  11. Despite its name, I don't think it would fit in a Fiat Uno.....
  12. '6. This bass would grace any stage or studio and requires a professional to enjoy' Well luckily that's me ruled out.....
  13. Did the Lamb (Curry) lie down on Broadway (Plaza)?
  14. Human Basses cost between £1000-£2500, is that the sort of economy you mean or sub £200, sub £500 or sub £1000? Usually at the lowest price point you'll not get 'light'.
  15. How come it's that price? Be nice to plonk along with...
  16. Weirdly I saw them maybe 6 years ago in South Petherton and have just accepted a gig there myself about 5 minutes ago.
  17. Music shop in Catania? Fun fact, I've been to Catania twice...
  18. HB pickguards are not necessarily the same fit as Fender or Squier (which can differ too). There's a guy on ebay in Scotland Brian Pillans? who will do you a replica if you send him yours, was around £25 when I had mine done a couple of years ago. I'm sure the HB posse will be along soon with the proper name for him...
  19. Totally tongue in cheek my friend, I was being ironic given the advice from our politicans and in no way was I having a pop at you. Sorry you felt I was being aggressive, in my eyes I was being humourous..different strokes obviously😏
  20. I think possibly the issue with MB stuff is that when it does break, getting it fixed is neither easy ( Only 1 repairer) nor cheap ( usually need to replace the power supply module). That said I've had MB stuff since it came to this country in the noughties(?) and only needed one *repair when I dropped a LM2 in its case. Luckily under warranty so FOC. Since the LMII, I've had an LMIII, an 802 combo, a 801 combo, a TTE 500 and cab, a NInja 102P 250 combo and currently a 101 MM Combo and a CMD101P and NYC 121. * Just remembered on the Ninja 250 the fan was noisy but out of warranty so I bought one from Real Electronics for £30 and fixed it myself.
  21. Apparently there's a 'cost of living crisis' out there....! Here at YFS Towers we are eating own brand foods and wearing fleeces, with it being 23 degrees today that seemed a bit peverse, but who am I to disagree with an Expert.
